I left on Sunday morning as well and it was raining until I got to Virginia. I rode down from DC. It took me 9 hours to get home, but I stopped in Roanoke for an hour to eat lunch and took a detour to ride a small portion of the Blue Ridge Mountains riding thru Gosen Pass.
This was an awesome event. I left Saturday about 5ish and headed back to Ohio to beat the rain. Glad I did. Last month I did a 6500 ride. I didn't turn on my radio and in my hotel rooms I didn't turn on TV. I justckept praying and talking to God and thanking Him for all the blessings. Hope to see ya next yr at RTTH4
Riding in the rain, not as bad as I ever thought it would be. Good rain gear is important. Remember “good stuff ain’t cheap and cheap stuff ain’t good”. Quality stuff is always worth paying for! That includes parts AND service! Glad you got home safe. Cheers from Canada!
@@Adrenalean767 bought some cheap, sequential bag lights a couple years ago, there was no disconnect feature and the indicators turned off and the light turned off completely when the brakes were applied. Ended up buying Custom Dynamics (not cheap) but they installed like a dream, work like a dream and I can disconnect when I take the bags off. Ya, sometimes you can get away with it but in my experience you get what you pay for!!
Dev, I was just there at Deals Gap motorcycle resort at the beginning of June. Honestly, I went so I would miss the Run to the Hills (not a big crowd person). I actually stayed in room 12 at the “resort” and rode the Dragon about 5 times. I also rode the Cherehola Skyway and Moonshiner 28. It’s a great area to ride and good to see y’all had a great time!
Awesome video!!! Hate I missed the ride this year, I was looking forward to seeing all you guys again. I met pops at the Hardee’s last year. Maybe I will get to be there next year!
Hello there, just came across your channel. Enjoy the journey and safe travels out there. We are in Cleveland and ride Harleys as well. Hubby is a racer, we are always at a track. Great videos. Coudos to your wife that rides along the side with you, like me 😉
That was sweet from your wife💯It was a pleasure meeting you and your crew, y’all was down to earth and real cool. Hope to see y’all next year as well. It rained on me too all the way back to Atlanta 4.5 hours crazy!

Devin, you had me cracking up. It takes a while to get use to them road trips. I hear you that rain is no joke if you are not use to it. Glad you guys made it home safely. Great video again.
Bro. Devin, good to see you vlogging on the Harley again. Glad you attended Tall's event this year, nice video young blood. Let us know when you get your sounds fixed on your bike. Continued blessings to you and yours...
Hey, this is my first time looking at your video and I like the way you do it you show one pod then you go to the next part I will be looking at you more often. At least you show everything. I hope you get your radio fixed. I know how it is without music. I got 10 speakers on mine 2 A sounds good.
I have never heard of them teller out-of-town biker I can't get to. Shout out to Barb's Harley-Davidson Mount Ephraim New Jersey. I came in, they saw the Illinois tags, they're like look everybody we got to take him and get his stuff on ready to go.
I bought the frog too and then as soon as I got back in my city (Memphis) I bought a Harley rain suit … night and day… that frog suit is not built ford tough 😂
