That's what my goal is for these flash game videos. It's not trendy, but people who've played them in the past will be able to find them and revisit old memories, just like I do.
"random in a way you can still beat the game" [kramm] i'm glad you noticed. Things like that take a lot of thought. I set up zones and the bat was constricted by the same rules you were, so if you couldn't go somewhere, he couldn't steal from there either.
Being a game developer puts those things into perspective lol. Sometimes we need to put in considerable effort towards something that, when it works right, the vast majority of players won't realize is even there. And not everyone bothers to do so. The difference between a good game and a great game lies in its attention to the finer details, and I quite appreciate the game's interconnected worldbuilding. As an aside, the unique, not overly cartoonish artstyle is very nice, so I hope you're keeping it somewhat similar!
@@Lasmelan It's clear you get it. As for the style, I worry that I will lose something in the remaster art, but the old art is low res. I'm a better artist now, but that may result in less quirky illustrations. I'm hoping it will be liked
@@paulkramm9971Hello Paul it might come off weird but I'm in dire need of answer regarding the game. What. Is. The. Purpose. Of. Diamonds. I really can't figure it out and am losing my mind
To me it almost feels like the bat is kinda doing the same thing you are in the game, picking stuff up, moving it around, using it for his own little mission. I like to imagine the player character moving stuff is just as annoying to him as him moving our stuff is to us.
When you get the egg and head back out of the dragons den I notice the music starts playing. Man it gets me every time. The music is like emotional but happy as I found the egg after all with what the I went through. I was just like you with the exact same location where the yellow dragon spawned on my way back. Third time lucky, I got the egg back and finished the game. Btw, great Walkthrough Lasmelan. ( :
Can't blame you - the game is notably hard for a flash game, I even had to restart a few times despite having played it quite a bit before. Yet, except for if you get stuck with a dragon somewhere, it's entertaining the entire way through. Really glad you enjoyed!
@@paulkramm9971 yoooo it's YOU! hahaha thanks for making the game man had a lot of fun playing it back when I was a kid and the nostalgia hits hard everytime I see it
@@Lasmelan ya know that dark underground cave? When you reach that lava pit instead of going through the hole to the left keep going two screens bellow lava, you will die but I used the Viking helmet to nuliffy the damage. As soon as you reach the second layer bellow lava you unlock a dev map. Bring up or down with M.
@@jardygiovan Wow that's really interesting. I'm glad I've beaten the game without the map, but knowing it exists is cool and can add depth to subsequent playthroughs.
It's nice that someone had a full playthrough of The sea of Glomp in 2020.

Alright that ending was pretty hillarious
Amazing playtrough, really enjoyed it

Thank you so much for doing these videos. I was never able to beat the game and it has driven me crazy not knowing how it ends, but now I know

Wow, this game made part of my childhood, i wish i could actually finish it. Also, i love your voice.
I beat the sea of glomp 1.5 to win. It was my happiest day.
My childhood. Its on this video. Do u guys see?
Классно, мне нравится 👍👍👍
Pretty sure in the first game the ending is different by that I mean you don't get eaten xD
Yeah I added that ending in 1.5 because i thought it would be a chuckle

@@pouncelygrin6699 Thanks, that means a lot to me. I wish David Crane could know the nostalgia I get from Pitfall 2

Hey, did you know that there is a secret unlockable map in this? I don't know if this is well know or not.
What’s the map? Not sure if I know.
@@Lasmelan a map that tells the location of the player, the bat, the dragons, and all items, I only beat this game cause I found it as a kid.
@@jardygiovan No, I never found it. How do you get to it?
