I'm surprised there aren't more comments pointing out that if you close your eyes and listen to Halal you'd think it was Scarlet Bobo. I know people have similarities but this one is scary! Like it's the same exact voice. I know people said this with Priyanka and Icesis and I could hear that somewhat but this one is uncanny .

I believe Lara Fabian is actually Belgian, but she does live in Montreal, and has quite the career in Quebec. Back in 1996, she was even the Quebec French voice for Esmeralda in Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame. Love your content.
Yup, she was indeed born in Belgium and has dual Belgian/Canadian citizenship since the mid 90s if I'm not wrong. Funnily enough her maternal language is actually Italian because her early childhood was spent in Italy (her mom's from there).
In the 2000s she went back to live in Belgium to be close to her parents but now she has permanently settled back to Montreal like 5 years ago??

Edie you may see some comments from me that seem unusually late. It's just because I saw Drag Race Canada 3 for the first time today aired on out TV and Vancouver. So I'm all excited and enjoying watching some of my favorite bits and pieces. I love how excited you are it really enhances the experience. If I had to select somebody to watch drag race with it would definitely be you sweetness. It's so hard to watch an entire season by yourself. Well that's not fair my fur buddies here but he really prefers hunting squirrels to watching drag. LOL big hugs hope you had a terrific Christmas and wishing you everything fabulous in 2023.
