@@TheOfficerMahoney I saw them at least four times beginning with that first album. I think ‘84. Krokus. Then with Maiden. Much later on the Kill, Fuck, Die tour in a Sacramento club.
Blast from the past! I haven't heard this song in DECADES!!! I forgot all about this one...Thanks T!!! Thanks for reminding me of some of my 80's journey. I was a WILD CHILD back then myself, lol. 🤘😁👍
Excellent reaction! I had no idea anyone was reacting to WASP these days. My favorite group back in the day, and yeah, seeing them live was amazing. They put on a helluva show. And Wild Child was my favorite song. Blind in Texas is a fun one, if you haven’t done that already.
"I wanna be somebody", "ballcrusher", "mantronic", "inside the electric circus". All killer songs. Can't wait to see your reaction to one or all of these. Keep up the good work, always enjoy it.
Finally some CLASSIC WASP!!!Please react to; Cries in the Night The Last Command Jack Action Widowmaker Blind in Texas Restless Gypsy This is their BEST era! The 80s, when I discovered them in ‘85😬 BTW... this video doesn’t do it full justice... The guitar solo was cut way short.🤔🙀 I vote for WASP EVERY DAY 👊😺🤟
Wasp wasn't your typical 80s band.. he never sold out and he never stopped being himself.. his history is tragic and beautiful..still 1 in top 5 of all time.
Brother WASP fucking rules! I grew up in the 80s and this is my favorite WASP song! You are absolutely spot on in your comment... their best music is by far the self titled debut album all the way to Helldorado... the old stuff is the best! Thrash is my favorite subgenre of Metal but Hair Metal is a close second. I've seen over 200 concerts in my life and I'm now 48 and I got to see all the cream of the crop especially as a teenager in the 80s... Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Tesla, Cinderella, Queensryche, Quiet Riot, Ozzy, Poison, Britny Fox, Great White, Whitesnake, Guns N Roses you name them and I've probably seen them! The 80s was the best decade of all time... Metal was awesome, Movies were the greatest and Girls were more interested in partying, going to concerts and sex, lol nowadays it's all about mind games and users that are gold diggers... it was an awesome time, a bottle of jack, a few big fat joints and a hand full of pussy!!!! Love your channel man, keep going down this rabbit hole bro! Btw, Seen Ratt and got laid that night so I did have my girl Lay it Down!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Oh, Please do W. A. S. P. MISS YOU. There is only one reaction to that song on RUclips. I think you'd like it. Also, SLEEPING (In The Fire) would be great to see you react to!
Saw these guys at the Arcadia in Dallas TX in 1984.. their first major tour... multiple times as opening band for KISS, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden... Saw then headline in 1986 with Slayer opening for them.. (MY FIRST MOSH PIT at the age of 16!!)
Just got finished telling someone on another reaction channel that WASP songs like Restless Gypsy and Mean Man are perfect for bikers on a ride, this song qualifies as a road tune as well.
Because of WASP I started to listen heavy metal some 40 years ago.....and still, even today i listen the good old Blackie Lawless with his unique and recognizable style of singing and music.
After the biopic some believe that Mötley Crüe was the craziest band at the time. But rumor said that W.A.S.P. was the leaders of the pack, mostly Blackie.🤘
My auntie took me to see them at the Hammersmith odeon in the early 90s. I was ten or eleven years old. Blew my tiny mind. Blackie has one of the most underrated voices in rock/metal history IMO.
Yes! W.A.S.P. Wednesday! There are so, so many great ones that your family on this channel can recommend.... the first one I listened to is "I wanna Be Sombody" .... "L.O.V.E. Machine", "Then "The Flame" , just go on from there....Love them all!
As a much older lily white Jew from Sweden I'm not in the least surprised that you like it. Music is universal to the human race. Though you better like Motörhead as well or we're going to have to fight on different battlefields.
I think that’s one thing we can learn about 80s metal. It doesn’t have to be serious. It doesn’t have to be complaining all the time. It can be a celebration. I personally love it. It’s indeed catchy and fun. Awesome reaction bro. 👍🏼 ROCK ON! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
I have loved WASP from the first time i seen them live at Donington Park Monsters of Rock festival back in 1887, i was totally blown away by all the theatrics on stage and the mind blowing music. It has been said that Blackie lives with his husband up in the hollywood Hills which totally explains why he is so theatrical but wether true or not you can not help but love the guy as he really is an awesome performer and a total one off.
Your gotta love the fact that Blackie kept the "oooh-oooh's" alive in heavy metal in the 80's. I have always loved WASP and your reactions to them are awesome!
Love Blackie's voice, Blackie's style. EVERYTHING!!! His look was unbeatable here.😆 This video is a gem! Best song to listen to before you leave the house when you want to feel sexy. 🤣 I know I'm strange. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also if you want a good laugh the video for Blind in Texas will have you laughing. It is also based on a true story of the band getting blind in Texas. There is also a cameo from ZZ Top in it.
Love your reaction. I was born in 82 the same year my older graduated and as I got older he turned me onto 80’s metal along with my father of all people. Dad made me a huge KISS fan and big bro made me a Megadeth fan.
Oh you want the old, mean, badass WASP that will kick you in the teeth? Then check out "Animal (Fuck like a beast)", "Mean man", "Rebel in the F.D.G" and "Thunderhead". Testosterone levels will be through the roof!
WASP are so dope. When I was grinding it through university I listened to Fistful of Diamonds at least once a day. Please consider reacting to it - if anything as motivation
Totally feeling you on this! I love this video and song unironically. It's just plain fun in an overblown awesome way and you can't help but get caught up in it. I would have loved to see the pitch for this video - "We're gonna have you play in a canyon with pyro, explosions, and the band logo on fire." "F*** yeah, we're in." Well of course!
Yes for WASP Wednesday.
Blind in Texas is a great song by WASP.
That was the first W.A.S.P. song I ever heard. It was on a cassette tape I bought that had songs from all different bands.
Blackie Lawless, one of the best Rock/Metal monickers ever.
Hell Yeah!!!! WASP Wednesdays, That would be sick.
I second that motion🤟🏽
I also second it
Fuck yeah dude! Sounds like a winner to me as well!
WASP wednesdays-sunday, 😁
Chris Holmes deserves way more recognition for the WASP sound. He was managed terribly during those years and never was paid either. Great guitarist.
Never paid? That’s wild
Piper-Holmes! That was the original and best guitar sound for WASP
He has a great documentary on Amazon prime I think it was where I saw it? He’s still shredding and doing his thing!
He always looked like Ozzy to me with that eyeliner.
@@TheOfficerMahoney I saw them at least four times beginning with that first album. I think ‘84. Krokus. Then with Maiden. Much later on the Kill, Fuck, Die tour in a Sacramento club.
Discovered WASP in 1984 in "The Dungeonmaster". They did Tormentor in that movie. Still one of my favorite WASP songs..
Blast from the past!
I haven't heard this song in DECADES!!!
I forgot all about this one...Thanks T!!!
Thanks for reminding me of some of my 80's journey.
I was a WILD CHILD back then myself, lol. 🤘😁👍
Tormentor live at the Lyceum,it’s a must see event and it’s old school
the Whole live at lyceum is insane
Agreed,completely aggressive!

Wasp wasn't your typical 80s band.. he never sold out and he never stopped being himself.. his history is tragic and beautiful..still 1 in top 5 of all time.
The over the top theatrics of the 80s is the reason it's my favorite decade of music.
Inside the Electric Circus and The Last Command are a good place to start. You’re gonna love Cries in the Night, Widow Maker and Restless Gypsy.

Ahhhhh Wild Child. Sheila 1986. Great times. Such a great song. I have a WASP Frankie Banali drumstick. One of my favorite Momentos.
Yes, love WASP, Blind in Texas next...
Back in 86, I saw them open for KISS. I was a junior in high school.
Saw them too! Same tour!
Oh, Please do W. A. S. P. MISS YOU.

Yea! One of the best catchy rock songs ever. The rest of their 80's stuff up to Crimson Idol are great!
crimson is actually a sad story
@@mckjewel but an amazing album.
Also very autobiographical.
Just got finished telling someone on another reaction channel that WASP songs like Restless Gypsy and Mean Man are perfect for bikers on a ride, this song qualifies as a road tune as well.
The thing about WASP. When you listen to there music it give you the best chills and a smile on people faces and it gets you pumped up

Wasp was more crazy then motley Crüe especially blackie
the drummers got such good posture ;)
My auntie took me to see them at the Hammersmith odeon in the early 90s. I was ten or eleven years old.
Blew my tiny mind. Blackie has one of the most underrated voices in rock/metal history IMO.
I want an aunt like your auntie
80’s metal his what I grew up with as a teenager! I love these guys!

Yeah , Live In the Raw is one of my favorite albums . met Blackie at HOB in Orlando back in 2001 . Great show
I Wanna Be Somebody and Blind In Texas are two other good earlier songs.
This is my favorite incarnation of WASP...loved Randy Piper & Chris Holmes together.... strong lineup
I love the saw blades. That was original as hell.
Amazing song with amazing guitar licks 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
They opened for KISS, the ASYLUM TOUR. I saw them in Jacksonville Florida 1986.

I've been a W.A.S.P. fan since 1990. LOVED THIS. Thank you!!!
Blackie Lawless is Fearless, one of the greatest front men in Rock/Metal of all time!

Ahhh my youth right there. Saw this concert too - Last Command or something like that. I had the biggest fancrush on Lawless back in the day.
Watch wasp live at the Lyceum London live full concert
It's one of my favorites from them. The last command is a great album
Got this album on vinyl in 1986, listened to it yesterday, all killer - no filler !
Restless Gypsy has got to be the most underrated WASP song.
WASP Idol, Best ever. Love from India. 🤘🤘🤘
Fun fact Blackie could have played a Liquid Terminator in Terminator 2: Judgment Day
If classic WASP at their best is what you want, you need to listen to LOVE Machine and I wanna be somebody.
Love Blackie's voice, Blackie's style. EVERYTHING!!! His look was unbeatable here.😆 This video is a gem!

Man I really love your reaction videos I’m 49 years old and have been a WASP fan since I was 15..
I always loved Blackie’s little skippy dance at the first chorus
80s metal is badass
The Manimal and Harder Faster off the album live in the Raw
Love your reaction. I was born in 82 the same year my older graduated and as I got older he turned me onto 80’s metal along with my father of all people. Dad made me a huge KISS fan and big bro made me a Megadeth fan.
I love seeing how happy and excited you are listening to Blackie. W.A.S.P. is fucking amazing and under-rated
Widowmaker is a sick song too
But this song has badass riffs
Blackies voice creepingly awesome, we used to cover WASP songs with our band in the late 80s. I imitate how he sings but couldnt
”My Tortured Eyes” is a fucking good song!
From a really fantastic album.
Was listening to a lot of metal growing up lol, this was one of the biggest bands at the time!
im so glad you reacted to this what i consider to be one of their best songs.they were an awesome group.controversial sure but what 80s band wasnt
Oh you want the old, mean, badass WASP that will kick you in the teeth? Then check out "Animal (Fuck like a beast)", "Mean man", "Rebel in the F.D.G" and "Thunderhead". Testosterone levels will be through the roof!
They make a good point...MORE WASP!!
Nothing tops the 80s! \m/
Great chorus. Best song off that 2nd album. But of course, their best tune ever remains "I Wanna Be Somebody".
Hellion ~
“Trail of tears” is a good one
My favorite song from WASP
WASP are so dope. When I was grinding it through university I listened to Fistful of Diamonds at least once a day. Please consider reacting to it - if anything as motivation
