  • Today's video shows my attempt at adding some Aeration to the pond for a healthier and more clear pond.
    I think Dominic and I did a good job.
    If you want to purchase this same kit, you can find it here:

      Thank you. I went with a much bigger Pond Guy aerator on the bigger pond, but these little guys are still kicking good in the goldfish pond.

      I didn’t think anyone actually watched these. Lol.
      I can certainly do an update video though.
      I been lacking in content not knowing what I am currently into that people want to watch.

      I just uploaded a live video for you showing the ponds current status.
      I hope you enjoy.

    Hello from South Florida, how has the pond fared with the aquascape kit? We just put the 4 disc kit in one of our ponds. Found your video. Thumbs up👍

    Whether they go in it or not..the cave was a good idea. In case of birds they will have a place to hide..i guess "incase of emergency " lmao.
    My aunts pond was 12ft by 18ft. With a 2 foot shelf and 3.5ft center. We used a few cinderblocks for "shelter" and her 2 sucker fish kept it really clean.

      Yea that was the intent. For just in case.
      I been lucky so far though.

    It would seem that the check valve should be close to the diffuser.
    So do you have winter weather and run it?

    • @PMPerformance
      @PMPerformance  10 дней назад

      The check valve would not last in the water. It’s only purpose in my eyes is to no let water back into the pump.
      I am like 3 winters deep with this setup

      @@PMPerformance Do you have bad winters? Has it kept ice open?

    • @PMPerformance
      @PMPerformance  10 дней назад

      @@zzman5306 I live in Pa. So yes we get bad winters at times.
      No it does not fully keep the ice open . Nor does my higher powered one that I keep in the koi pond.
      It certainly keeps the ice at a minimum in the harshest conditions in relation to the rest of the pond.

      @@PMPerformance I am in Michigan and have my first pond and this will be my first winter. What heater are you using to keep a hole open?

    • @PMPerformance
      @PMPerformance  10 дней назад +1

      The heaters don’t fully keep them open either when things are extreme.
      My suggestion is that if you have a larger pond to NOT use this setup. I use the pondguy aerator in the bigger pond.
      I have recently added a second Aquascape aerator in this small pond as I was having some fish loss mid summer. Now that the goldfish are recreating at such a rapid pace, my logic was that there was not enough air
