Absolut! Zwar war ich damals Teenager und wahrscheinlich erlebt fast jeder seine eigene Jugend rückblickend im Vergleich als viel unbeschwerter im Vergleich zum Leben als Erwachsener. Doch ich habe ich trotzdem den Eindruck, dass es eine freiere Welt war, in der man damals lebte. Eine Welt, in der man nicht so sehr mit seinem Ego beschäftigt war, in der man weniger auf die eigene Außenwirkung fixiert war, eine zumindest noch weitgehend authentische, analoge Welt ohne die Schattenseiten von Internet und vor allem Social Media - Freibad statt Instagram, zum Shoppingtag nach Köln fahren statt bei Amazon zu bestellen, einfach per Festnetz verabreden und sich treffen statt WhatsApp. Eine Welt, in der ich mich trotz aller sonstigen Schwierigkeiten im Grunde noch verschmolzen mit meiner Umwelt fühlte. Heute nehme ich mich unter anderen (unbekannten) Menschen eher als Fremdkörper wahr...die heutige Zeit erlebe ich wie einen Albtraum, aus dem man nicht mehr aufwacht. Auch Jugendlicher würde ich unter den heutigen Verhältnissen auf keinen Fall noch einmal sein wollen...
Gestern... um cca. 11 Abends lag ich im Bett mit meinem Freund. Tausende Fragen im Kopf ist alles falsch oder richtig, und eine Depression. er versuchte mich zu beruhigen und mir zeigen, dass ich mir keine Sorgen machen sollte (ich mach mir immer Gedanken, weil ich es nicht gewohnt bin gluecklich sein und ohne Pech zu leben). Wir hoerten uns 90er Techno und dieses Lied kam am RUclips. Es war wirklich schoen. Dieses Lied, fuersorgliche Woerter und eine warme Umarmung. Koennte nicht perfekter sein
This is masterpiece in every aspect. It was mega blast when it appeared on market. But didn't succeed so much. Still I'm wonder why. It was produced by mighty Tissy Thiers, well known from 80s collaboration with Michael Cretu. I guess that the main target was to make something similar to Blumchen. But Blumchen was on top so it was hard to beat her. Pity, because Lovenet ruled also with Mondsuchtig. And yes I agree, the vocalist was beauty. Love the videoclip also, its cool. Great memories. Miss the good old 90s rave.
Not only "Blümchen". It was more like "Das Modul", which often used terms from the computer-section like CD-ROM, RAM, Megybytes etc. Blümchen didn't use many technological terms. She mostly was just "in love". ;-)
@@wirsinduntereuch exactly. this is 90% Das Modul, 5% Blumchen and 5% of Dune. Loved this song&video in my high school times. "CD-ROM" was on top then, and "Internet" was a close future. i miss this kind of music a little bit. now we have nightcore tho. I consider S3RL to be the successor of those creators.
@@petertakacs3180 Well, Das Modul did not involve any frontwoman or any visible singer, they were just using a voiced mashed up on a computer. Lovenet featured this gorgeous and cute frontgirl as a bonus... ;)
@@ici_marmotte on the second album they showed themselves more :) "Frühlingsgefühle" didn't even have the mashed up voice. Also the 2 singles that came way after their albums had clean vocals by the girl. I was so in love with Das Modul and kind of still am. But this song here hits the same spot. Just found it while going through my old NDD CDs from back then :)

It's making me a bit proud that this sweet song was even known outside German speaking countries at that time, at least to a certain degree. Probably because many people could receive the German music television channel VIVA back then by satellite where this has been on heavy rotation. It think there were some kids especially in European countries such as Poland or Hungary watching VIVA in the mid 90s, maybe interested in what's going on in Western European TV and pop music just some years after the seperation of Europe was over and to check out what they were part of from these years on (just like Eastern Germany). It makes me happy that they were undeterred by the German language on the programme or even liked some songs in German, this one was probably the lovely side of it which many would not have expected. "Ich bin mondsüchtig, mein Kürzel ist L.O.V.E.M.E. drei-null-acht (308)..." - what a brilliant chorus. And what a cutie that girl was...I mean, just take look at the outfit she's wearing at 0:57, this is just overwhelming and her hair is gorgeous in this video. Strangely I didn't really have a crush on her as a teenager when I saw this on TV. Even more so now that I found it again. :D I'd even say that I appreciate this song more today than back in the 90s when I acutally experienced this. Maybe I'm missing the lightheartedness of that era, the absence of fear or constant sorrow, at least when it comes to myself being a young teenager at that time.

Frontfrau nicht ausfindig machen können...lediglich das Songwriter- und Produzententeam (Manfred "Tissy" Thiers, der u.a. mit Michael Cretu zusammengearbeitet hatte, Rita "Laisa" Flügge-Timm, Claus-Robert Kruse, Ulrike "Miss Hagman" Hagemann) ist im Netz bekannt. Bei beiden genannten Frauen handelte es sich, soweit von mir recherchiert, nicht um die Sängerin, sondern waren "lediglich" an der Entstehung beteiligt. Man müsste wohl beim Produzententeam selbst nachfragen, sofern man denn jemanden von denen erreichen sollte... ;)

Possibly, she was not keen on being and staying a public person, so maybe she was insisting of not being mentioned in the credits. Or was she just let down by the producer team as 'Mondsüchtig' charted in Germany, but didn't become a real smash hit? Or both? I don’t know. Sina could actually be her real name as this name was much more common for females in Germany in her and my generation than today and it sounds a bit too ordinary for a showbiz name. I’m about seven years younger than her as in your video from 1996, she’s telling the host she was 21. I was a 13 or 14-year-old teenager at that time and had a schoolmate at that time whose name was Sina as well. She was often bantered (not bullied) by being called ‘Valensina’ as there is a German orange juice brand called ‘Valensina’...I think it's a beautiful name for a female and I second this name to get more common again.

Dune klangen im Vergleich schon etwas "ausgefuchster" produziert, weniger "happy" und hatten natürlich englischsprachige Texte, wenngleich sie von den "echten" Techno-Hörern genauso abgelehnt wurden als rein kommerzieller Act. Ich kaufte als 13-jähriger von meinem Taschengeld jedenfalls trotzdem brav eine Maxi-CD nach der anderen. :D (mochte aber z.B. die Sets bei "Housefrau" mit Mate Galic und Sabine Christ genauso gern oder wenn Carl Cox auf der Mayday auflegte)
