You guys are great fun, I'm definitely happy with the Barrel Strength version 55.5% an older batch #16 we have in the UK. It impressed me how well you picked out those notes & the sweet candy bubble gum shell you pulled out was spot on in my mind. 😋 Cheers lads

The Stanky Fruit Pickle, I can’t even imagine what that would smell like. But as Jeff knows I’m not a fan Pickles. Awesome season so far. Making me want to try some new whisky.
am from Germany and its kinda hard as a bourbon/us whiskey fan, to get more than the standard stuff (Jacky, Jim, Turkey, Roses). Most whiskey stores here give you a smile or point to the lowest shelf when you ask for bourbon. But if its available, its available. Found a small store with Eagle Rare, Michters, EH Taylor, etc etc..people just dont care and it sits - good for me. Picked a Penelope Architect and this Toasted Barrel but havent opened yet. Never had a toasted before..have got a Michters Barrel Stength Toasted Barrel finish and this Penelope. Guess i am going to do direct comparisson soon. like your review style! cheers from berlin
