I made a compost pit in my brothers backyard and pleasantly surprised that instead of houseflies, it was filled with BSF larvae. I didnt do anything sepcial but somehow when a pit is filled with BSF, houseflies will avoid it.. now Im trying to do the same in my own backyard but havent gotten lucky.
