    Always appreciate your program! I have a glasses story: last time I worked on rope climbs, my very expensive progressive OVOS, that always stay on even when upside down, got knocked off (not gravity) and tangled in the rope. I “grabbed” them w my teeth and completed to climb up and back down. Didn’t want to loose them a week before AL! Constantly varied?! Looking fwd to your ice baths. Never tried one. 95• sounds like a time to try?

    Jason, thank you for validating my discomfort with waves. Do you know if the schedule will be released prior to the games for spectators?

    Great conversation as always. Event nine guess is - max reps of thrusters in a 2 min window. 🤮

    Can you supply the RUclips link? This is going to get streamed on? And/or where the workouts are located? I’ve looked in several places, Google search, somehow I cannot locate. Thanks for your patience. - Dale affiliate owner CrossFit ENG, Cape Coral, Florida, 56 years young

    Event 9 - is a max cal event. Go hard in the paint for 2 min on echo bike or rower.

    I'm going to guess for Event 9 that we see a clean ladder like the elite individuals did, but instead of multiple rounds it's just one run through.

    Asking for Castro to resign is ridiculous

    • @JasonGrubb
      @JasonGrubb  2 месяца назад

      It might be... without a clear explanation why, and "what" do they want him to resign from?

    • @mistameanor1
      @mistameanor1 2 месяца назад +1

      @@JasonGrubbthey were clear. They want him to be removed from sport. They’re not asking for him to be fired outright. And the reason is because of a pattern of behavior of him being extremely flippant about athlete safety and refusing any type of communication or collaboration with athletes. He has a history of leading through fear and intimidation and that has been an issue for over a decade.

      @RogueCylon what do you think athletes should do? I personally believe going and giving it your all gives you a voice. It gives athletes a spot at the table. I like to think that just like the CFG, the athlete will give it their all while using the opportunity to build community among us everyday people. Especially Masters, the core of whom support our local gym owners and are examples to so many. I do not know Jason, but as said in the video, come join him and others in the recovery tent. Build our bounds and unit over common interest.

      @@MaxandTheoShow it’s personal choice. But until CFHQ is properly addressed, no games should move forward. Don Faul stated clearly 6 months ago that meaningful cuts would be made in sports spending. That was evident and on display in Event 1, compared to previous years. Barely two weeks, no burial, no LEO verdict, and we have the Masters. Personally I think it’s the wrong message, but I also understand that people have their own livelihoods at stake. I’d prefer to see less shortcuts, and proper safety front and center. Like Vellner said, this is not a war, but a sport.

    • @MaxandTheoShow
      @MaxandTheoShow 2 месяца назад

      @RogueCylon I agree with much of the sentiment. I just wouldn't put the burden on any of the athletes. It's not on any of them to carry that. Just like Pat continued on. I hope that each masters athlete finds that this sport is about community and relationships. It's about healthy habits and fitness.
