- In today's video, we're showing you 5 things you can't miss in Plant City, Florida, the world's winter strawberry capital. Every March, the town hosts the Florida Strawberry festival that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world. While the delicious red fruit is the city's claim to fame, there's plenty to do here that will keep visitors occupied the rest of the year. Our list includes what may be the closest thing to an enchanted forest you'll find in Central Florida, a roadside produce stand that whips up the best-tasting strawberry milkshakes, and a one-of-a-kind antique store housed inside an early 20th-century movie palace. Can you share dog-friendly things to do? Restaurants etc? I pass Plant City weekly!!!!!!! I'm visiting tomorrow...i can't believe that there is so much to do.
@@expressivepets1 keel and curley winery is dog friendly amd we have a dog park downtown with a coffee shop called krazy cup with patio seating and welcome dogs. Hope this helps also the park chad reviews is also dog friendly medard park. Hope this helps.
I have lived and loved Florida for 28 years. I was in California for 12 years before I moved here. Florida is a great state. I would rather see strawberry fields and beaches. You can keep all your mountain states and I have lived in a few.
I love to let down my window when Iam driving by the strawberry fields to enjoy the smell of the strawberries 🍓

Chad Not sure where you live ? But when you travel back to Plant City and get hungry, there are 2 places you have to try !!! Maryland Fried Chicken ( best fried chicken you will ever have ) and Fred's market restaurant at the farmers market serving a true southern buffet with all you can eat. Both places are favorites of mine and I travel there a few times a month from Tampa.
Hey! My Uncle Kenny Canty is the owner and collection curator of State Museum along his wife Carol, they travel all over finding the most beautiful treasures. There's always something new. So proud of My Uncle and his beautiful wife. Can't wait to visit and stay at their beautiful B & B , also full of antiques and treasures. There's even a strawberry room. You should check it out next time you visit. 🍓
