Just wondering, why buy a light racket in the first place if u are thinking of adding so much lead to it? 🤔

I guess this racquet only comes that light. So If you are into the amount of power IT delivers but want a heavier stick, then lead IS the way to go.
Also, If you want a different balance than stock, then you pretty mich have to buy a lighter version and add lead where you want.

I understand adding a few grams at the 12 or 6 + 9 o'clock positions to customize the racket but doesn't adding so much lead to the entire racket change to whole playing characteristics of the racket?

@@rcyc Yes, possibly. But this can sometimes be exactly what you want.

Well it’s easier to add weight than to remove it. You can get more specific with the specs. Also the lighter racquets tend to be stiffer than the standard weight ones, so some players may want that stiffness with some added weight.

Nice review from the rare racquet in yonex lines.

Hi. Any idea when the new Yonex Astrel 100 will be available? Saw they posted the new one recently.

What do you know about the Wilson Graphite Performer? I keep trying to search tennis talk forums and other places online and I cannot find very much about these racquets from the leat 80's/early 90's. I even emailed Wilson and no one that contacted me could give me any information. If you know anything I would love to hear your insight.
