❤️Hello friends, so as we continue with a day in Lonavala and hoping that you saw part 1 of our day in Lonavala, in this part we bring you a sumptuous lunch that we had at one of the most simple and humble restaurant in all of Lonavala. After having a great breakfast at Golden Vada Pav our expectations of the lunch in Lonavala were really high. So we chose our tried and tested place that is popularly known as Joshi Lunch Home.
This eatery is run by a all women staff in the kitchen and is owned by a very sweet lady Mrs Shaila Phase. She started this place around 1985 and I have been coming here since 1992. The food has never disappointed be it the non vegetarian dishes or the vegetarian food.
The dishes are limited so the quality and taste has been maintained since the last 35 years.
The owner herself tastes each and every preparation and only after her approval the dish is completed and served to the guests. We ordered a few vegetarian dishes and a few non vegetarian dishes and to our delight the taste was exactly the same as it has been for years.
The highlight was the pomfret fry and the prawns curry. And also friends the ladyfinger and cauliflower were great. The service was excellent and the food was fresh and hot.
Make a note friends this place is open from 11 am till 3pm. Dinner is not available.
So friends our trip to Lonavala was a great success and me and my daughter Rishika had a great time.
