Personally I expect the "as link" to be a playable intro. Link swings his sword and strikes the gem woth an arrow displaying both weapons as well as potentially a similar scene in the emd where zelda brings link & ganon back before link finally finishes the brute off using a special tool/weapon collected by Zelda
That’s definitely possible. I mean in other games Zelda doesn’t get to help Link until the last fight in the game so they could do the same thing here just this time we actually play as both.
I'm not worried, it's still Zelda's story and they have always played a part in saving each other so I'm happy Link is involved a little bit. I don't think wanting "playable zelda" means that she should be the only hero of the story.
First! Also I think it would be awesome to see link and Zelda working together through parallel dimensions, especially if they are both playable.
