Excellent ride, beautiful scenery, i was expecting Billy the Kid to appear any moment, terrain just like the wild west. I hope that your Father is on the mend even better out of hospital. Have a wonderful weekend.
I def prefer climbing on those trails. The descent was probably a better road, and I’m gutted it didn’t record - superb viewpoints over the Ebro, civil war machine gun nests, Griffon vultures, an enormous open-cast mine…I’m def going back.
Hi yako was it me but you seemed a bit glum at the end of the video,I enjoyed it lovely countryside blue sky and sunshine ,see you on the next Adventure, Ps give my regards to your dad cheers jim.
I’m pretty upset - it went unremarkably really, but the fact that it all worked out IS remarkable for my vids! I truly loved the freedom of a multi-day ride. Though I have lots planned, I’d actually prefer to just go, with no agenda, and see where I end up. I think gravel tyres on my road bike may be best, to give me a bit more speed/range. Still have my Floydonabike series to shoot too!
Hi Gareth, just to say that I hope that John is recovering. Difficult times for you all. I now have my new Kalkhoff e-bike. So much more advanced in many ways than my 7 year old bike of the same make that I part exchanged.
Many thanks Mark. He’s doing OK….I just want him to battle more…everything hurts and he is despondent. It would be interesting to try your Kalkoff. It’s up there with the most advanced e-bikes. I’d love to know how you get on with it.
@@yakoridesagain It comes complete with a dropper post for the saddle which at the moment doesn’t always lock in it’s extended position when I press the release lever as I take my weight off it. I’m sure there’s a solution that the bike shop can provide. I knew such a thing existed but have never used one before.
Chin up big yin, love the video, and yes, puting the camera in yer mouth makes it quieter! However, you do have some good banter. Keep it up, love you work mate.
Ok, so there's the landscape the weather, the villages and the tracks and you have it all to yourself... but apart from that where's the attraction? I'll get me wellies.
To be honest John you’re right, that’s about it! No pork pies, no decent beer…oh, cost of living is low and the Spanish NHS is properly funded…and we don’t have Truss, Rees-Mogg etc staining the TV…little things…
Great video! Thank you for sharing. Will miss your adventures on the Kemen. Looking forward to the full review! Please take care of yourself! Hope that your dad is doing better. That must weigh heavy on your heart. Ps. I know your Gain is missing you! Do you think your view of cycling since you’ve been on the Kemen and the Rise? I’m still looking to get the Kemen but the SUV version. 👍🏾 Take care my friend!
Such a cool moniker, Shadow! Grateful thanks for the best wishes. I think there is some slow progress with my Dad; I’ve got fingers, toes and everything else crossed for him, many thanks. The SUV will be perfect. the Schwalbe G-ones are fantastic road/gravel tyres, but just aren’t up to the knarly stuff. Your support is always appreciated, Denice.
All of it! 115kms, 1300m of climbing, and serious climbing. And you know I’m a big guy. I had a full bikepacking load too, and I’m currently taking it v easy cos of my heart. The Kemen simply has too much power. Tuned right down, this thing will go for MILES.
Yako, could we possibly have a video update on the battery extender you made , how it's holding up & the range your bike battery & extender combination can get you?
Keep going Mr Yako, sorry your toy is going home. Once you get to 100,000 subscrbersthey will be beging you to take their bikes for free. Play the long game!
stunning views and awesome roads .snow and ice here today :-( wishing Dad a speedy recovery
Thanks Larry. Appreciated.
Great to see you back on the bike. I too would like to see more of the home made battery extender. What a beautiful region you live in.
Thanks, will do!

Much appreciated Terry. He’s not out yet but things are slowly looking up, many thanks!
Welcome back. Great ride and village. Well done on that climb.

oops, and thank you Neil.
Weird that the first thing spotted in the hidden village was an electric car charge point. Good spot.
It was a surprise, I expected mostly donkey-and-traps up there!

I was Jim, my Dad isn’t very well, and I’d just come back from a week in grey UK. Did have some cracking fish n chips when I was there though!
Stunning views
Shame you missed the recording later on. Would have been good seeing you set up camp etc.

Ha! I’ll try to use gob-cam more often!

Ps. Can’t believe those tires handle all those rocks so well! How much juice did you use up?

I have had the SUV Kemen for just over a week now. Can't imagine too many places you can't go on this thing. Absolutely loving it!!!

why not Leon. I’ll do one asap. (spoiler, it works perfectly, and used carefully, 2400m of climbing)

Wouldn’t that be nice. It’s taken 2.5 years to get 1000, so for 100,000…I hope Orbea do mobility vehicles too?
