A small detail - Poland had a democratic government even before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
It was the democratic changes in Poland that allowed the fall of the wall in Berlin and the democratic changes in the other countries of the region, including East Germany.

The secret to success is a mix of resilience, hard-work, being an underdog in everything and adaptability. Poland wanted to be a part of NATO for the safety reasons and a part of EU for economic reason. There is no leaving any of the international institutions. We think that if something is having faults, you work hard to fix them instead of sinking the whole project. The UK was sitting at the very TOP of the table, had a tremendous influence in the EU and could create all the major policies. British people had every right to leave but was it a reasonable decision? Definitely not. Loses all around and very minimum gains if any.

We Poles work hard, educate ourselves and watch to protect our culture. It’s white, it’s christian and it’s secure! The reasons for UK downfall are obvious! It’s now north-west Pakistan and therefore a hellhole. In Poland there is no left wing, only different shades of conservative. Bóg Honor Ojczyzna! 🇵🇱❤️🇵🇱

0:10 "Unemployment drops significantly" Yeah nice data manipulation. The unemployment drops from 6.5% in it's peak to 5%. Change of 1.5% and you are calling it massive?

I am actually wondering about this, as the cost of living is increasing alot more than what you woulf expect according to paychecks.
So at what point does it start hurting all poles vs the lower levels, and what will then happen ?

Yes at the peak there was 900k Poles living in the UK but in 2024 after Brexit UK experienced 800k migrants entering the country just in one year 😂 poles were highly active economically, now you have 800k migrants a year that are not as active and British economy is a train wreck in slow motion.

Let’s not rewrite the history and reality. Poland has always been the center of Europe.
The Berlin wall collapse was not the cause of collapse of other common systems, but the Polish solidarity, in conjunction with inability of Soviet union to govern itself and economically thrive, aftermath of Afghanistan, and of course, John Paul, the second and a little help from Ronald Reagan with solidarity caused all of this, not the collapse of the Berlin wall.
Berlin wall collapsed as a result of this. Get the history right please.

Not exactly. Between 1992 and 2004, Poland doubled the size of its GDP and achieved growth of 6-7% year-on-year. Entry into the EU on 01.05.2004 gave a further boost to development, but it was not the beginning.

@matt112fly not as bad as I find living in UK. Every country has it's problems. But generally Poland is safer and cleaner lot of American companies and investment now still part of EU ,I can go to USA on my passport which is much stronger then British one. You can say what you want and think contrary to me doing it in UK now. No Pakistani raping gangs either. Poland is safer country

Poland have economy based on western made business that can be puled back to own countries any moment.
It would be great if Poles become capable and smart enough to grow on their own knowledge and jobs but behind this success story there are different interests.
If there was time and possibility, except Poland and Romania... Ukraine would be made to be stronger for the same reason. Those 3 countries form border line to Russia. It's a western security project that move danger to east Europeans. They are happy because there is chance to drive trucks or produce western cars... which is progress compared to previous poverty. They believe more in even brighter future while western companies lower their expences in the same time as governments work on geopolitics.
Nowdays you can't be perspective if you're not on Russian borders...
Say I am insane but think about it before further catastrophies. Everything can change in a day fake economy retreat and people start to die while infrastructure is destroyed...
