Onto the story, I like it! A cautionary tale on the dangers of betraying a magical entity's trust. My only suggestion on it would be to have a bit more internal conflict for Endric so that he doesn't betray her so quickly and easily. Maybe his homeland has problems of its own that they need something from the forest for which leads to a struggle between love and duty that eventually gives way in the worst way possible.

That is an excellent suggestion, make it harder for him to betray her, something he struggled with but ultimately did because it seemed like a good way to help his people or his family, and he did so without realizing the destruction that would follow. Give him internal conflict. I love it. Thank you. :)
