You were right on with your comments about the music industry, yes sir it is a Crime !!! Would love some more Austin Brown, he has many originals that are so well written !!!!
Stunning !!! Austin is one of five precious gems in the treasure trove that is Home Free. He absolutely brought chills! I love the idea that the members of Home Free have side projects that feed their passion and keeps them fresh and creative bringing energy back to Home Free. The talent within the group is astounding. Each of them alone are phenomenal and together they are almost supernatural. Austin has a lot of music on his channel as does Tim on his channel. You should check out Austin and Rob singing opera, and Adam's beat boxing solos both the older ones from 2015 and the newer ones where he creates "beat boxing symphonies" layering his voice with a looper. The Home Fries have hit the mother lode with these guys! Thanks for a great reaction.
Might check out rob amd austin singing nessen dorma. Opera. I think the vid title is “two country artist try singing opera. Let me just say they more than try
This is right up Austin’s alley, he was a musical theater major in college and this song is from the musical play Les Miserables. He has quite a few songs on his channel that you should check out. The one I suggest to start with is a collaboration with Tim Foust called MY MARIA. It is great. The success of this song helped lead Austin and Tim to recently start a new music group for when they not performing as Home Free and is called Sweet & Low Music Company. You have a blessed day
If you haven't yet, you need to check out Home Free's latest drop, "Save The World". Written by Austin, sang by Austin with Home Free backing vocals and piano. Stellar.
Being you appreciate Austin’s gorgeous voice……peruse AUSTIN BROWN ‘s channel…..he has some wonderful songs he’s done….& some are his own originals…..quite lovely tp listen to❤️🔥🙃. Thank you for your nice reaction 🙃👍❤️
This of course is from the Broadway Musical Les Miserables, and has been sang by many excellent singers. Josh Groban's version is my particular favorite, but Austin does a wonderful job and it's nice to hear his more classical trained voice, sans the country accent. Austin does quite a lot of solo work. On an additional note you should check out Scott Hoying of PTX's recent solo release, Mars, it's amazing. As always your reactions are a joy.
Austin has released a lot of songs on his channel, I'd suggest "Unchained Melody" because it has over 11 million views, "Tears In Heaven", & "Georgia On My Mind" to start. 🍟
Les Miserables, my absolute favorite musical! And, Austin nailed everything about this song, especially given the context of the musical! You must see the musical! It makes this performance, by Austin, even more astounding, heart felt, pure emotion..just beautiful!
How the Heavens don't open up when his angelic notes rise up, I dont know. From Les Miserables this rendition is absolutely perfection. Thanks Craig for a perfect song. 😊 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Good reaction! And I'll second that recommendation of listening to Rob and Austin "try" to sing opera (the aria Nessun Dorma). Will blow your mind. Found on Austin Brown's channel.
Great reaction & so glad you liked it! All the Home Free guys are unbelievably talented! Austin has a lot of solo songs & others on his channel & they're all great! I don't think you've reacted to a recent release on Austin's channel titled "Two country singers TRY singing opera"! You'll love it! 🤗&😘from SE Tennessee, USA!😊
Thank you so very much Craig! To me it was Perfect, Extremely Beautiful! Austin is amazing! He brings tears to my eyes with some of his songs just from the beauty of his voice and the authentic emotion he delivers. You are so right in that he is humble and kind heart! We call him our Sunshine because he is full of light and positivity! All of the Home Free guy's are truly awesome human being:s! I appreciate you showcasing them on your channel! Oh btw Austin is also from South Georgia! If you could add to your list for Austin would you please check out "TEARS IN HEAVEN"cover of Eric Clapton "IF I MET YOU NOW" an original written by Austin Hope you have a great week and sending love to you and your family from South Georgia, USA!♥️😃🍟
Oh I am glad you enjoyed it, Austin has such a beautiful voice and is so talented. If you haven't heard it yet, please check out Austin's cover of At Last (Eta James) it is awesome.
That was the one I was going to suggest too! All of them! Unchained Melody which Austin released about a year before Home Free released theirs-over 11 million views! My Maria with Austin & Tim! Neon Moon.
I haven't been blessed to see them in concert yet. I've seen clips of them live. I've seen Tim tell the audience that they are turning the stage over to Austin. Austin sings this song. I truly admire how they support each other. That's one of the things that draws me to them is their support of one another. Thank you for the reaction.♥️
Another beautiful number of Austin's accompanied on the piano by Sebastien Douyon is a cover of a much beloved Louis Armstrong hit. His rendition is called What a Wonderful World (Animal Take). It wasn't planned to look like this but Austin, Sebbie, and Amberly (behind the camera) just decided to do the wise thing and let them have their way.
Your face said it all. This really showcases his musical theater training. All the Home Free guys are so talented in so many ways. They are starting to show off their songwriting chops on their new album which will be out in a couple of weeks. They have released a couple of videos from the album already, most recently Save the World, which features Austin. Tim and Chance also have solo work and collabs with people outside of Home Free on their You Tube channels. Can't really go wrong with any of it.
This is my favorite solo from all of musical theater, and Austin's version is my personal favorite. In my opinion, he does two things that elevate his solo work. First, he makes each song his own. In this case, it was the phrasing and the final note that were completely fresh. Second, he doesn't just sing with emotion, he embodies the emotion of songs through his voice and his gestures. He is my favorite male singer of all time. If you want some other suggestions of his solo work: "I'm Not Supposed to Love You Anymore", "Tears in Heaven", Danny Boy", Georgia On My Mind", his solo version of "Unchained Melody", and his own solo songs "Earn It", "Off the Grid", and "If I Met You Now" are all excellent.
Les Miserables is my favorite Broadway play and I was fortunate to see it on Broadway twice. Originally sung by Colm Wilkerson. The song has a older man singing for a younger man who is fighting and wounded. He's praying to let God allow him to live and take him instead. Powerful song and Austin did an amazing job with it. I get chills when I hear it. Such a beautiful song. Thank you for reacting to this.
I saw the title and I immediately knew "Les Mis". I love that musical. Many great actors have sung this song. Hugh Jackman, sung it in the movie. You are doing yourself a disservice if you never listen to the music or see the play. PBS has had two different versions one the 10 year anniversary and then the 25 year version that had two London casts of the play come together. Alfie Boe played Jean ValJean and sung this song. Later he sang it with Colm Wilkinson who was the one of the first big talents to sing this.
As you've seen from the other comments this is from the musical production of Les Miserables. It originally was performed in the West End of London by my favorite character in the musical, Jean Valjean. If you have never seen the production, you're missing out. Colm Wilkinson, the famous Welsh tenor originated the role and put his own spin on the song. As you can probably tell, I am a huge Les Mis fan. I've been lucky enough to see it in London. As for Austin, I love his voice so much and he did an amazing version of the song. Brilliant! I love his voice so much. You should also listen to Colm Wilkinson's version of the song. It is amazing that Austin is relatively young and has such phenomenal vocal control.
I think the men in Home Free each having their own channel(s) and the freedom to collaborate individually or jointly with other artists is one of the reasons they've stayed together. Too many bands break up due to 'creativity differences'. Being able to pursue their own creative interests means that they can just enjoy touring/ singing/video taping together. I don't know if you've seen the duet with Austin & Rob of "Nessun Dorma" - mind-blowing!
Thank you so much for the wonderful reaction! Austin is so incredibly talented! He has so many amazing songs on his channel. Unchained Melody was his first solo during COVID, he does such a beautiful job. It would be appreciated if you could react to it at some point. Hope you and your family are well! 🤗❤️
This song is from the play Les Miserables. He was showing off his musical theater background. You need to check out the rest of the music on his RUclips channel. Tim also has his own music out on his RUclips channel. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
Austin was performing this on a cruise ship when Home Free first met him! After mutual admiration Austin joined home free! Try to listen to the music on Les Miserables… Nice reaction
I love Les Miserables, and he does an awesome rendition. Of course I love musicals… I grew up on them. They’re so much more intense and dramatic than the ones of my childhood like The Sound of Music, but I love it…and their verbal and emotional versatility.
HomeFrys had been waiting for Austin to release this one for quite sometime but he didn't want to until he felt he had perfected it. I thought he did a fantastic job but then I'm prejudice because Austin is my favorite singer and that includes all genres. He is a very sweet and humble man who has a gentle nature with all animals and even fish . Only fishes if he can release them. He and his girlfriend have a channel that shows their love of animals and aquatic species that they raise and feed on his property. Glad you did this reaction. Always enjoy your comments. 🥰🦌🐸🐟
Lots of great options on Austin’s channel. Top two I would vote for are the collab with Tim on “My Maria” or an original song written by Austin “Earn It”. Earn It is pure country, and you get not only to hear his songwriting, but see his home life. But another option is also to check out Tim’s solo work next. He put out a doo op album this year. Either ‘Come Go With Me’ or ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay’ will leave you stunned for multiple reasons.
The guys from Home Free must be workaholics because in addition to the great home free songs, Austin has a lot of videos on his channel of him singing standards (Georgia on my Mind, etc.), Tim has an album (with three videos released so far) of Do-wop songs where he sings all the parts in harmony with himself. Chance has some great collaborations with The Hound+The Fox, and Tim has a lot of duets with Peter Hollins. In fact, Tim and Peter just released a video of their cover of a Beatles song, "Blackbird". Not to mention the "Tim Foust and Friends" backyard recordings and a new project he and Austin are doing with their musician friends called The Sweet and Low Music Project. It's like there is so much music inside them they can't contain it.
I seen Home Free live for the first time last week (10/20), and it was AMAZING! All those guys are so talented. Austin, has created a lot of content on his own with his friends. Georgia on My Mind is a great rendition. He and Ron just sang Nessun Dorma (which I am sure you have seen pop up these past couple of weeks). You should give that one a go too.
Austin is so talented. This is from the popular Broadway play Les Miserables about the French Revolution. I don’t know who did it originally but Austin could probably have a career on Broadway. The last note is usually not sung that high and he did a great job. Austin and Rob Lundquist (also of Home Free) try opera. You might really enjoy that one. They’re country singers and it’s fun to watch. Love your reaction!🥰
Hi there, this video is amazing. The beauty of his voice made me cry. There are many renditions of Danny Boy, but none like the version by Austin Brown....please please react to it. You will love it, I believe. I watched your reaction of Angels among us by Alabama and its beautiful. This Christmas, YOU are my angel....in so many ways. Thank you dear man fo all that you do. From an old lady who has hope now., Barbara
This is one of my favorites from Austin! He has quite a bit of solo work and covers on his channel. Also, Tim has a channel, as does Adam Chance. Both are definitely worth checking out!
It's from the musical Les Miserables! I knew it the moment he began singing it! It's a beautiful song and great musical(I'm not usually into musicals). The main character is pleading to God to spare another man's life by offering up his own.
Another great reaction! Austin has done some solo things, some things with Tim Foust in their backyard tours { My Maria is a must to hear }. Tim has done solo things as well. He also teamed up with Peter Hollens on a few videos. Enjoy watching your reactions.
Another one Austin does wonderfully is his cover of tears in heaven it’s very emotional and have you heard Tim and Austin doing Nessus Dorma ? it’s amazing 🏴❤️
Austin has other excellent solo songs. I haven’t heard one yet that I didn’t like/love. It’s coming on Christmas, please give us some PTX. Avi shines in both The First Noel and Silent Night, those are two that you missed last year. 🙏🙏🙏
I like this version but absolutely love the original one of him doing it live. This is from Les Miserables a famous musical. He has brought the octives down and changed ending a little. Find his from the live stage show with the rest of the guys.
There are so many great songs on Austin's solo channel. You can't go wrong with any of them, but my favorites are Danny Boy, Tears in Heaven and Neon Moon. But before you dig into those, you must check out the new release by Home Free called Save the World. It is an Austin original and it almost seems like a solo project for him. None of the others appear in the video although you can obviously hear them. It has been released as a single and many of us (including most of the reactors I have seen) hope this might be the song that moves them up into the level that they deserve.
Check out Crazy by Home Free! Written by Willie Nelson & sung by country star Patsy Cline in 1961. Home Free's version is great! They sing it in the same key as Patsy.
Love your reactions. Have you reacted to Moody Blues Nights in White Satin Live at Royal Albert Hall. That specific version is AMAZING. Would love to see you react to that
I'm a new subscriber and love all of your reactions.Austin has a great voice but my favorite version of this song is by Jonathan Antoine.Check it out from his album Believe.
Love Les Mis...he did it justice! But....Alfie Boe is the one that takes this to an even higher level! You definitely should see Les Miserables...film version with Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman or an anniversary concert. If you do the concert, read up on the story since it's very difficult to follow if you don't know the story. #24601
I thought this posted, but I can't find it. Anyway, not sure where to send links. I'll post this one here & you can let me know. This is one of my favorite live performances by George Jones!! I Don't Need Your Rocking Chair!! ruclips.net/video/e913EJVVIHE/видео.html Tracy Lawrence & Mark Chesnutt join him! Fantastic!! 💜
He has a superb voice...but it would have been far better if he had sung it as it's traditionally arranged. It's one of the most famous and popular songs from "Les Miserables"
My take is not going to be popular. Yes it is a very beautiful song, but in my most humble opinion, it doesnt fit him. Austin's voice is beautiful, but this song is not for him.
Now listen to Austin and Rob sing opera on Austin's channel.
You were right on with your comments about the music industry, yes sir it is a Crime !!! Would love some more Austin Brown, he has many originals that are so well written !!!!
Can you just imagine Austin playing Jean Val Jean? OMG!!!

Beginning of a new rabbit hole!!

Please Bubba, will you please react to Rob and Austin singing opera.
Austin does a beautiful job with this song. He has so much talent.

Beautiful song. Sounds like something you would hear in Fiddler on the Roof. I love Home Free and each individual member, all so very talented.
He's got such an amazing voice. I'm glad he's doing these solos on his channel. Tim has a few mind blowing ones on his channel too. 😉🥰

Amen.. Your right
A few of my other favorites on Austin's channel are Danny Boy, At Last, and Unchained Melody (which Home Free also does a great version of together.)
Gary morris did this beautifully in Les Miserable. Check out Gary Morris because he is also a country singer.
Austin has other excellent solo songs. I haven’t heard one yet that I didn’t like/love.

It has been released as a single and many of us (including most of the reactors I have seen) hope this might be the song that moves them up into the level that they deserve.
Tim Foust and Adam Chance also have individual channels you might want to check out.
Would love to see you react to that
Luke Evans sang it as well.
It's from the musical "Les Miserables". Mat Shaw did a richer, more full bodied version for the people of Ukraine.
Fantastic!! 💜
Please react to Big Al Downing sing ..,..The Story Behind The Story. Great, great song.
He has a superb voice...but it would have been far better if he had sung it as it's traditionally arranged.
It's one of the most famous and popular songs from "Les Miserables"
You think this is good, you need to now watch Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera, this is Austin and Rob and its on Austins channel 🏴
Les Miserable.
Sounds like a Disney musical...Nice voice etc..Just something I would never listen too.
My take is not going to be popular. Yes it is a very beautiful song, but in my most humble opinion, it doesnt fit him. Austin's voice is beautiful, but this song is not for him.
