Love the super mystere because it has basically mirage flight characteristics at 9.0. Not the best acceleration but excellent climb rate and speed and somehow capable to turn fight
I can understand why you like it, i had fun in it as well! But you're right, to do well in in you need someone who knows how to use the strenghts of this plane.
Idk if you have the a4n spaded or if youre on process but you Will really love It its like. A little Harrier great acceleration and almost 2 secure kills with aim 9d and the engien Is amazing It has a lot of thrust
I love taking it out in ground rb it just sucks because I gotta use the merkava at 9.3….. patiently waiting for ground treee soo I can use more enjoyable
@@spray916 No, the MiG17 has worse acceleration and climb rate, plus this plane also out turns it above 960kmh IAS. It also can cut the turns of the MiG17 due to speed loss, much like when a MiG21 bis and a MiG19 are dueling, they share thrust weight ratio but the MiG21's speed bleed combined with thrust helps keeping up while staying behind.
I hated spading this and the Sa'ar. I would've preferred to fly the MiG 17 or F2 Sabre. It's a brick with no acceleration or energy retention. It's a nice looking plane, but just not fun to fly. DEFAs also too often give me "crits" that seemingly have minimal effect on the aircraft I shot.
i dunno I always get janked by these on my MiG17, these are just faster and have better guns and can actually fly at jet speeds, MiG17 is pretty much only and only a slow speed dogfighter that turns into an absolute brick past 780kmh. Yes it turns like a prop below 500 IAS but that's not relevant especially when others can fly at 1000kmh or more, also the swift f7 is better than the CL13 MkB
@@kingghidorah8106 It just seems like YOU struggle with these jets. I've used all the jets you've mentioned and the MiG 17 is one of, if not the strongest 9.0. We can agree to disagree, however.
@@spray916 the MiG17 is severely overtiered. It has worse acceleration than the MiG15 bis and flies like a brick at the speeds everyone is flying. If you're dogfighting everything with the Super mystere you're playing it wrong so don't complain and say the MiG17 is superior because it's not. It has rank 4 guns at rank 6, it has no missiles and the SM does, it has prop flight model, the SM has jet flight model, why dogfight when you can just get faster than anyone and out climb most stuff? Literally, most 9.0s can toy with the MiG17 as long as they don't turn with it
@@jengar6258 I often get "crits" with them rather then kills in a short burst. Most other top tier guns will kill in a short burst. DEFAs used to be good, but the adjusted the belts about 3 months ago and aren't nearly as good as they were. To many times I've been in a 1v2 situation where I needed the DEFAs to kill and they've let me down, unlike the Russian 23mm/37mm combo, or American Naval 20mm.
unfortunately all the planes sitting from 8.7 and above are unplayable due to compression. It's a shame, we need the old br cap back and decompression. You can't have harriers facing first gen jets. Playing the mystere is just a pain.
@@jengar6258 First I saw it in videos then I had the same experience as well. I always crit everyone and a team mate just ks them all. I don't know. These gund served me well on the A4 and even on the Mirage IIICJ. Probably a Kfir nerf.

Gaijin finally gave him some love. Actually pretty fun now, especially now that the 9.0 matchmaker is pretty balanced

This is a skilled pilot's aircraft. I personally really enjoy it but I can underatand why people struggle with it.

It was a used by Israel as a strike bomber and cas aircraft though the plane during the 6 day war shot down five aircraft in the air

Dont understand you had this experience with the DEFA guns Spray. I had good results with them.
