The first story: use denatonium benzoate. It tastes *awful* but it's harmless, basically a sugar that tastes bitter. Sprinkle a bit on something tempting for the food thief and wait for the hilarity to ensue.
I suppose my case could be referred to as “passive vengeance”. During COVID lockdown. I got bored and looked for some of my old high school bullies’ social media accounts. (I had moved far away to another part of the state after graduation so I hadn’t seen them in two decades). Most of them got fat and went bald. I’m still in shape and have all my hair. It’s gray, but it’s all there!
Once had a roommate who didn't want to do his share of cleaning up. Was in a frat house kind of situation where we had an RA and we would be assigned cleaning time on certain days. This clown would lock himself in the (very small) bathroom and waste time while the rest of us finished cleaning so he didn't have to do anything. One day, I had enough. I said, "I'll fix this guy. Hey, Lee, get me some foot powder. Jack, let me borrow your hair dryer."
I put a heavy line of foot powder under the bathroom door (note, exhaust fan is running) and then blasted it into the room with the hair dryer. Next thing we know, Funny Guy is staggering out of the bathroom looking like Frosty the Snowman, even his glasses are all white. His hair is white, and he's coughing and sputtering, we're all laughing our asses off. He says "I'm just sitting in there and suddenly the air turned white, and the light bulb looked red!" Then he started laughing along with the rest of us, and we made him deep clean all the foot powder.

They wouldn't just repost the same video over and over. Yeah, some of the previous stories may have ended up in this video, but I highly doubt that they would repost the exact same thing. 😑
