By far the worst modern season in ANW (post ANW 11) and here are some reasons 1. 8 finishers on stage three is a joke 2. The race structure and knockout bracket served as a second safety pass (can we please get rid of those) 2.5. On that note, can we please stop the races? Like remember when the show was about skill? Now it's "how fast can I run through these somewhat difficult obstacles". Just make the course harder and take out the races, no one likes them (at least not as much as normal ANW) 3. The red side of epic air surfer was very obviously broken/slippery as everyone who "failed" it slipped off without even swinging 4. Why were their like, 50-60 runners on stage one instead of 100? 4.5. And why were their like, 100ish (or possibly less) people who ran qualifying. 5. Could they have made the stands look any more empty, way to make the show look popular and fun 6. I love that female competitors are getting more attention but my God I don't want to see every single female run and then have a supercut of every fun to watch/old school competitor. 7. What happened to all the cities? Of course I understand the show isn't as popular as it once was but only doing it in one place feels so underwhelming. Its not covid times anymore, maybe make it seem that way. 8. All of the new competitors had some form of ninja experience or were famous people. Remember the days when random people walked up and ran? 9. Creativity is gone, like, absolutely expired. All the "new" obstacles are either designed by individuals, taken from NNL/WNL or supersized versions. Not to say all of them weren't not creative, just super boring to watch or were finished in like 2 seconds (with an exception to gambler) 10. Get rid of the damn second chances omg. Imagine like, 4-5 people running stage 3, WOW! But no we have to have 12 run automatically, with one of them not hitting a singular buzzer ALL SEASON (and fell early WOW) 11. Stage 3 isn't hard anymore, and before anyone says "HoW AboUt YoU Try IT", how does that have anything to do with the argument. Im not a super athlete, but these people ARE, and thus stage 3 should be the ultimate final challenge before the final, not a walk in the park. They should be gasping for air when then finish the course, not jumping up and down and saying "it wasn't really that bad". 12. Were really close to having the show taken off air, and that much is obvious. It shocks me that their trying all this new stuff considering the highest ratings were during the "difficult era" where 4 people on average made it to stage 3. Just go back to what people liked!
Now you have to feel more disappointed but much, as two seasons were filmed back-to-back. And they didn’t return to cities due to the cost and NBC doesn’t want to pay the governments for a territory.
Stage 3 should go back to being 8 obstacles like the old days instead of just 7. 8 finishers out of 14 competitors makes the course look not hard enough.
Is it just me, or is it like really silly the way ethan bartnicki jumps up and down at the buzzer. Like he’s rlly good, just his buzzer hits are just cringy to watch. Good shit to all of these guys.
Many obstacles were easy, but some of them are difficult (like Pressure Cooker, because although many people completed, it’s easy to miss poles, like Joe Moravsky on Time Bomb back in Season 9).

If you don’t know, in the original Sasuke from Japan, also there were 7 obstacles on Stage 3.

Year after year the courses are easy. With new rules that a winer can win 1 milion touching 3 butons .. the winner this year never was in the past
