I am living the American dream. Came as non-immigrant visa with spouse who joined the US Navy from the Philippines. Became naturalized citizen after Reagan signed the law for those Filipinos who served in the gulf war. He served the US Navy for 27 years. We raised three wonderful children. He and I received our Bachelors degree and further our education with Masters degree. This came with the a price: working hard, juggling 2-3 jobs, while raising our family. Our children are grown and are also successful. If my husband was not given an opportunity to join the US Navy FROM THE PHILIPPINES, we would not be living THE AMERICAN DREAM. God bless America!
