Giselle from RHOP had a line in Target that was one of the best tinted moisturizers I’ve ever tried but it’s no longer there. Just want to add again that the dermablend isn’t mineral in case that matters to you.
I'm Kerry washington shade and the colorscience deep is perfect for me I'm so happy after spending so much money trying to find the perfect tinted moisturizer for my skin 😍
This video is RIGHT on time because I was going back and forth last week on trying out the ColorScience Flex or the Absolute Joi. Now I have to add that Dr. Gio cushion to my cart as well because it looked flawless on you!
I did a review on the Absolute Joi on my channel as well ! So glad you checked it out! What's crazy- I'm darker than you, but I liked the cafe better on my skin because it was almost invisible.
See we’re soul sisters cuz we say things like “beige 1&2!” 💀😭😭😭! I’ve walked through aisles of places and have said “look at all these shades of beige, beige and beiger- do they know Black people exist?”
Lmfaoooo! Hey boo! Listen, soooo much beige! How about I live in a predominantly Black neighborhood and the drugstores here for yeaaaaaars had beige, BEIGE, and MO BEIGE foundation options. Barely any shades people who live here could actually use.
Thank you for this video Sis.... I am fan of sunscreen , and i was about to get the new colorscience flex... and lol, I will go and get the absoluteJoi instead and try them out... Thank you
So grateful for your channel! I'm so glad I was able to order a sample of the colorscience first because I was soo disappointed. Especially after watching Dr Stephens video on it. She says she's NW45 in mac (weren't we all at some point lol) I think I'm actually more of a NC50 which I think is a tinge lighter. I'm 420 in Fenty, 5N2 in Estee and this flex "deep" had me looking casket ready! I will say it definitely doesn't look as bad on camera as it does in real life so maybe that's what's part of why it looks like it works for Dr Stephens. Even in your clip it doesn't look terrible so I thought it would be fine on me. The level of protection would have been perfect, SPF 50, demi-matte/non oily, visible light protection, water resistant but it literally goes on like a paste and takes so much rubbing in to try to get it to blend (which it never does).
Oh okay, that Gio looks gorgeous! I might have to invest. Right now I’m still faithful to Biossance (not tinted but not ashy) and NARS although the newer tinted moisturizers are a bit off in color. Oh, Halo by Smashbox is also a current fav and I was able to find colors darker than my shade but not sure how deep they go.The spf is only 25 so I use it in addition to another mineral sunscreen.
Thank you! I did purchase the colorscience flex based on Dr. Alexis' review and waiting for it to arrive to try it out. But that Joi one looks promising just for everyday not necessarily beach. Guess I gotta stay casket ready for the beach
I love the Absolute Joi in Mocha! It doesn't have dimethicone like a lot of other sunscreens and it actually looks good on my skin once I powder it down. No reaction either.
What a correspondence! I was just checking out Dr. Gio cushion foundation because I saw someone raving about it. I love how the finish looks. They currently have a BOGO FREE sale until July 11th and free shipping. It's a great deal. My only hesitation is a finding a good color match.
@@styleandbeautydoctor I watched a few videos with people that had similar undertones as me. The #2 was too light and the #3 was too dark. I could buy both and mix but I know myself. Hi Danielle, Great video! I'm tempted to try the Dr. Gio & Absolute Joi products, but the former contains perfume/fragrance & the latter has a very low percentage of zinc. $39.00 -$40.00 is too much in the first place. Why do they cost so much? I'd rather just use Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sensitive Skin zinc oxide 21.6% sunscreen, SPF 50 for $9.99 at Target. I use it by itself with moisturizer when I'm biking outside (almost everyday.) It does have a slight white cast if I don't rub it in well, but after I apply my moisturizer, it's fine. I'd rather have a white cast that noone can see or cares about for $9.99 than pay $40.00 so noone can see the product. When I wear makeup over it, you can't see the cast anyway. Gas is almost $6.00 a gallon, wth would anyone use any extra money for sunblock when they can get a good mineral sunblock for $10.00?
These videos are great, I found two that I'm interested in, now... how to I get them to my country without paying the price of the product for shipping 😂.
