I wanted to thank you for the amazing and detailed video. The same day after watching your video I spotted a pair of Diesel jeans. They were band new with tags from the thrift store which cost me $5. I was able to determine how to spot a fake pair. If I didn't know any better I could have come across a replica. Thank you so much for the informative video. I found your info very helpful. I took your list of name brands to a local thrift store. I found For All Mankind, Torrid, Miss Chico (very blingy), 3 True Religion, 2 Hudsons, NYDJ, a Diesel, and even a Mother. I paid $10 for a couple but most were $5 or less. Went a bit over my "budget" but felt I needed to, to get a sampling and see how they do on eBay. Will look into Poshmark, I look forward to more of your videos. reminds me of when my friend said her guy always liked Lucky jeans back in the late 80's? early 90's? I never heard of them but as a seamstress, when I saw them, I did see the quality. (Still not tempted to list clothes. My mom and I spot deals on antiques. We are too old to start over again in a different area like clothes. Wish I was younger! I would do this!)

I ran your video again and the sound was continuous this time. Not the loudest but I could listen through. Interestingly you have a number of W25s. Do you tend to buy much of that waist size? Essentially the buy and sell price and the best sizes and makes is key for getting started in this. Not that I expect to have a warehouse filled to the rafters with that denim smell but I guess there will be many poeple who would like a summary on all this. never forget FedEx smart post, it is sometimes cheaper than priority padded flat. Pennies add up! :) good stuff though, learning more and more all the time about clothes
I live in Cali and the Goodwill's are so expensive here. Anything that is a major brand like jeans they charge $25, so even after 50% still quite expensive. So I go to Goodwill Bins and try my luck there.

If you take a magnifying glass to the mircro stitching you will almost always notice that there are words on the stitching like security security security...or something along those lines. Counter fitters have gotten good at throwing in a thing piece of metallic thread but the real deal will have those words :)

You should see repeating words "True Religion" and the horseshoe logo. The strip is mixed in with the light beige satiny threads in the strip below the horseshoe. If all you see is a shiny, tinsel silver looking thread there, it's most likely a fake. (Also, look for near perfect stitching on both inside and out. Sloppy, ugly stitching is a good sign that they are fake.)

A couple of questions. I loaded the Ebay app on my phone, but don't see the sold option when doing a search. Do I need to be a seller to see that option? Also, how do Carhartt's do? I live in Iowa and they are popular here.

I'm also going to list many plus size tops (Maurice's, Lane Bryant, Vanity, Torrid) and some of my children's clothes (Nike, Underarmour, Gymboree, Carter, etc.). And I'm downsizing my Lularoe legging/shirt/dress collection too. You are helping me figure out how to list and sell so very much! Thank you again!!!!
A couple of questions. I loaded the Ebay app on my phone, but don't see the sold option when doing a search. Do I need to be a seller to see that option? Also, how do Carhartt's do? I live in Iowa and they are popular here.
I found a pair of freja + mother vegan leather pants at the bins. They sold for only $35. I should have probably priced them higher and wait instead of listing them on auction.
