literally all i remember from the days of vine was youtubers making videos about cringe vine comedians in the exact same way youtubers do about tiktok today
it wasn't until the day vine died that the narrative suddenly switched from "vine is low iq humor for people with no attention span" to "vine was literally the birthplace of comedy".

As a black person i’m promising you you’re right, it’s deeper than what it appears. it’s unconsciously implementing these stereotypes into peoples brains and passing it off as humor. Even the non-racial ones, making up things about homeless people who already have so many negative connotations/beliefs surrounding their existence
