I tried talking W/ "Coot" about BAS 3.0 & he said he has nothing to do with it & Know's nothing about it? He can be so grumpy & standoff at times. He is full of knowledge & very fast to scold you on how your garden is being used.? You already know not to get into use of "Worms" W/ coot !!!!!! Can't wait to see you do a video on Ruesing The BAS 3.0 after flowering only in 5-gallon pots ? How to reamend the soil for next flowering? Thank you, Jeremy, keep up the great work W/ BAS Rock's I'm in a 5x5 W/ 5-gallon pots only used build a bloom up to week 6 then H2O only!

@Clackamas coot Thank you for the reply, I do enjoy your advice each time I see you,! you know your soil "living soil" for sure! & There are many ways to grow this beautiful cannabis plant depending on your environmental conditions you're growing in, so we are all going to have different inputs to control the space! I'm sorry I thought I heard Jeremy say that you help develop the BAS 3.0 W/ your input as well...! I respect both you & Jermey's advice! We are all here to help each other & not ague What works best for each of us! IMO Take care see you in chat !

I use snow every winter. I shovel it from my yard, just being sure to leave the bottom inch or so untouched to reduce any grass clippings to pick out. I just fill two 35gal trash cans and set them in the garage. Each melts down to around 7.5-10gal depending on specific snow

Planted an auto directly into 15 gallons of 3.0. Bent the main stem over early, that plant filled out the 2x2 tent it was in. It flowered 2 weeks longer than the breeder said, but that extra time was worth it to me. Plant was very healthy all the way through, I went a little heavy on the buildaflower and actually got some burnt tips. Just chopped yesterday and couldn't be more happy. By far my most healthy plant I've ever grown. Excited to see the yield and finished product.

27 gallon home depot black and yellow tote with lava rock in the bottom and drill holes just above this layer for overflow. this creates a 2 to 3 inch lava rock reservoir. put your tubes in and add soil and transplants. these last for years and can be rocked over and over again for cycles to come. not sure if this is soma style but it is easily done with readily available materials. much love and badass series brother. optional is some kind of sand layer or burlap in-between the soil and lava rock. but soil on top works just fine.

I love this, I have a lot of discussion about the myth of genetic drift, and a lot of people get super offended when you tell them its a myth. Like you said, theres one strain we grow that ive seen several different results from due to growing in different environments, some times the clone (from the same mother) turns out purple, super frosty, different smells, etc...I think its all a result of different environments. I ran an all green pheno of a runtz cross, and when i seeded her she turned purple and frosted out more than anytime ive grow her before...So like you said i think the big thing is healthy mothers, and environment. Once you have your grow space dialed in, thats when you should consistently see the same results.

After watching you work quadrant 1 and knowing Im not ready for a notill or the full extremeness of all that is organic; you provided this new grower with some great information. Even though you dont like small containers I am hoping to show that even the small containers with your products can be done with great success as you have already shown. Thanks for all the free information hope to provide updates on your products as soon as they arrive!

So the water when full in an Earthbox does not touch the bottom of the soil/bottom perforated tray. It's about an half inch to inch air gap with res full. This constant air gap is why it works so well from what I understand. Can't over soak the soil. Great design. Just put 2 more together yesterday. I love these things. IMO they are the Cadillac of grow pots. So easy to just set the cruise control and let it ride for weeks.
Love the show, great information. Thank you Cheers.

I would like to see a high plant count in the bed like you've been talking about. I also think it would be cool to see you do a tomato grow in one of the other quadrants again. The first time around we never really got to see any decent results and it would help you keep your plant count lower on the medicinal side. I also think it would be cool to see two plants in an earth box and how that works out. Another idea I've been wanting to see how an autoflower does in the build a soil method. Maybe an auto in the 2x2 would be cool.

It is not exactly simple to hunt for content buried in older videos based on little more than the title at times, and this case is probably one of those. But, there is at least one video (I think it was one of these FAQ) from 10x10 Season 1 in which he goes fairly in depth comparing sustainability of various mediums, specifically peat vs. coco. I will take a shot later at unearthing it if I can, but know it is out there since he may not want to get back into it again with so many other questions routinely posted.

Quick question though, where is a safe place to pickup seeds by AWKID or Covert genetics? I currently order from ILGM and I sometimes feel I get cookie cutter/corporate quality seeds. They grow great with excellent germination but I want to try a strain created from the love for the plant, not much can we produce to maximize profit.

I've 'seen' a 180 plant room grown from the same mother cuts, and on a single branch on a single plant was a huge cluster of male flowers. Probably 3rd - 4th run of the same pheno, previously stable with zero herms.. Was only discovered during night cycle by torch light. Was a massive fright as it was 7 weeks into flower. But not one seed was discovered..Still scratching my head on that one...

I purchased Craft Blend, your earthworm castings, insect frass and Oly Mountain compost to re-amend my used soil. Craft Blend says to use 2-4 cups per cubic foot. Since Craft blend has everything the soil needs and I wanted to add the frass how much could I add without over doing it? Would I replace lets say 1/2 cup per cubic foot of craft blend with the frass? Or, use craft blend at 2-4 cups per cubic foot and the frass at recommended dosage per cubic foot as well? How much compost/worm castings do you recommend adding after each cycle? Big shout out to the whole B.A.S crew for making great content and great products!

Thx as always great shiz! Question; if i recall correctly for your 3x3 bed you had said if you didn't get a soil test, you would re-ammend with Craft Blend... I'm in the gutter broke atm and cannot test!, so is that a safe bet for a 20gal 2nd run, with minimal time in between runs?(with castings + cover crop as well)
Oh snap Coots!, thx for doin this all!
