    In your IPLDP knowledge checks READ the question, underline the points to prove and it will give you the answer

    I don’t know if different places do different PCDA assessments… Mind you a lot of information is also given in Student welcome packs.
    I think also looking at NDM, Thrive, Gibbs Reflective Model, Victim vulnerability, powers, human rights… knowing legislation, offences, pace,
    Conflict management model, custody is useful. Especially PCDA…

    Can you help me understand assault, I’ve watched your video but I’m still very confused.
    Is the following correct?
    Assault = apprehension of violence.
    Battery = can be commited without assault and it’s basically physical contact
    Common assault = when both assault and battery are committed together.

      She is confused herself 😅, The assault when there’s a use of threats, battery is the physical contact, common assault is both threat and physical contact. Both under section 39 criminal assault, in real live if you come across assault and battery we refer it as assault by beating
