This video is what got me to execute TJU perfectly, however along the way I found out that if the opponent steps back it's even harder to execute, here's many alternatives to it : b, df+4 : it looks like a high so the opponent will try to block high, if connects jet upper has at least 3 frames to be executed... b4 : it's best executed if the opponent's back is at the wall, some hasty players will try to punish it if whiffed or blocked, that gives you at an advantage to jet upper them QCB 4 : it's not the best for t7 but I can easily combo it with jet upper, it doesn't log as a combo for some reason but it connects all the time with b1
I dont know why but in T7 i really have some problems with taunt JU. In ttt2 i got it pretty consistent but now i almost always get the b2 instead of fb2. I looked at my command history and theres a neutral input missing between f and b which gives me only the b2. do you have any idea how to fix it?
Hmm if a neutral input seems missing that should be beneficial no? With regards to Taunt JU it's all about reducing input frames as much as possible to increase success rate.
Hmm I would have to say the benefits will be marginal at best. Because no matter how tense the spring is or how wide the actuator is, by design a joystick will always have "Travel". Landing Taunt JU involves you minimizing that "Travel" as much as possible so that F and B+2 all happens within a window of 2 frames--and it's more reliable to depend on your hands for that motion. Now using a keyboard to execute TJU--that will increase execution (because arrow keys have no "Travel").
pretty useful. Im trying to do it in tekken 8 but I can't get that fast enough. Its so fcking hard man my fingers hurts I mapped taunt in R2 it makes a lot of confortable but jesus christ I cant land it one time either
Don't know if this will help but I have a hand cam of me doing TJU on pad in my controller execution video: ruclips.net/video/VBs4U2tJYo4/видео.htmlsi=MvN86Ole4OafYpal Hopefully that can help you with understanding the rhythm.
that was useful sir I did all of these things except for the taunt jet upper
=p
يا رجال والله حتى انا ساعدني الفيديو لدرجة تقريبا حققلي حلمي

Crimson Fury hokage detybiyo
This is the most useful tutorial video I've ever seen ! I downloaded the video and did for the first time the TJU Woooooow
Never thought about practicing the taunt cancel simply into F...this should help. Thanks for the vid.
great video, just need to add the taunt extension from f214 actually has an additional hit if you didn't already know f214~2142
Oh yeaaa that's right thx for the heads up. I kinda wish I could go back in time and add that into the video lol.
@@cutcc mostly because f2,1,4n_,2n_,1n_,4n is like -10000 frames on hit. But hey, it keeps the taunt charge

Its been a year since I practiced taunt jet upper.I remember the time when I didnt know that much about the taunt 😂

Just to add something: Ensure the Back 2 inputted as soon as the knee hits.
Too bleeding hard. My neutral seems to be too long or something
thanks mate ! great vid
Do you think modding the stick to a wider actuator or a 2lb spring will help increase tju execution?
