really fucking annoying song to squeeze. spent way more time on this than I wanted to. Every squeeze except the last is an 89 bpm 16th note double squeeze, which is equivalent to 178 bpm 8th note double squeezes. Shouldn't be too hard, but hitting all 3 in a row can be tough. Once you hit all three double squeezes, you have the last act, which is a reverse ticks overlap squeeze. I was able to get x80 and still overlap a couple times on runs where I missed a double squeeze, but I'm just gonna settle for this. Not gonna grind this song for hours again for 8 more points.
also the lead singer is a massive piece of shit. I already went into this in my description for this song on Lego Rock Band, but If you didn't know, Ian Watkins, lead singer for Lostprophets, is a despicable human being. He is currently in prison serving a 29-year sentence for conspiracy to rape a one-year-old girl, possession and distribution of sexually-explicit images of children and "extreme animal pornography", and numerous other sexual assaults on minors.

Say what you want about the artist. This song will always be apart of my childhood and I still enjoy it. Yes I know it is hard to seperate art from the artist, but I never struggled with that. I enjoy the art and love the music. I just hate the actions of Ian.

Yeah. Like you say, some struggle, some don't. When i play the song, i'll get reminded that the lead singer's a horrible piece of sh*t unfortunately, but at least i try to not think about it a lot.

Fun fact: this is the only way I'd ever listen to this song (for whatever reason, if I want to feel nostalgic but icky at the same time) so the algorithm will think and recommend guitar hero and rock band rather than support the actual band and put them in the algorithm. Yeah even though they're pretty much really dead I really don't even want a hint of that freak showing up anywhere on my feed. Bless you for play-though though for history's sake 🙏🏼
Yeah, i remember when i first heard about the whole Ian Watkins thing, i was so disgusted i wanted to delete this song off of RB3 and RB4. I know people say "Separate The Art From The Artist" but understandably it can be hard for some people. This song will sadly be forever tainted with what that jackass(to put it lightly) Ian did. Its no wonder the former members of Lostprophets have gone on to say that they will never play their old material again and instead are working on a new band called "No Devotion"
@Primus Blitz I get it, but fuck it, if you like that song you could still listen to it... try to fool your mind into thinking it's someone else's voice (identical to Ian's) or something. I don't condone Ian's actions and I think he deserves the punishment, but I won't stop singing and listening to Lostprophets' songs. The same goes for Chris Benoit (the wrestler) he killed his wife and his son before committing suicide, but I still enjoy watching some of his old matches, despite wwe has removed everythig related to him and never ever mentioned him again on websites or during the shows. Oh and Spotify removed all Lostprophets songs from their database. I hate that kind of censorship, even if it's deserved / logical.
I pratically grew up listening to Lostprophets, and after I heard all the incidents about Ian I stopped with them a little, but now I noticed that I don't have to let that monster ruin the good music that Lostprophets ever did. Fuck Ian, he can rot in prison.

It's kinda weird how things pan out in life. Not to say I ever was an incredibly big on Lostprophets or anything, but I did listen of some of their material when I was a long younger. Needless to say, being disappointed with Watkins's actions is definitely the understatement of the damn century, people like him make me think we genuinely are regressing as a society. And beyond this song in GHWT or LRB, there's probably no chance I'll ever go back to listen to them
I absolutely hate Ian Watkins, but I do like the songs that the overall band made. I wish that they had kicked him out and replaced him with another vocalist who sounded extremely similar, but was infinitely a much better human being. As it stands, though, I still do listen to some of their stuff through the RUclips Topic auto-uploads, even though it seems like it always gets taken down and re-uploaded again on a consistent basis.

I'd be lying if I said this wasn't a solid sounding song. I am NOT lying when I say the vocalist for this band is a horrible creature who I wouldn't even call a human.
Interesting Fact: I'm fairly certain approximately a month after this game released, the issues involving abuse started being reported, I don't know for sure if it was made public yet.

If I was in a band, I'd ask permission from the rest of the band if I could cover it in the hope of giving it a new lease of life, removing the taint of that bastard.
But I'm not a musician, nor in a band, so... I can't.
What they should've done way back then was kick him out of the band and replace him with someone else who sounded extremely similar, but was infinitely a better person. That way, the entire band wouldn't have had to disband and completely disown all of their old music they created as Lostprophets.
They made a new band and vow to leave everything from lostprophets behind.

I remember telling my friends about what happened with the singer After we FC’ed This song on world tour so I said “I don’t know if you guys know this but the former singer for lostprophets is a Extreme piece of Shit.” My brother who’s on drums Asked how so I said “He’s serving a 29-year prison sentence.” My brother and our 2 other friends were stunned and my friend on bass said “He must’ve Done Something harsh to have that Happen” I pointed to him and held up 3 Fingers. He said “What did he do.” So I told them everything. Afterwards I told them “I understand this is a Good song But can we not Play it anymore? Just thinking about what happened with the singer makes me sick.” My friend on bass said “Why would he do that though? That’s too messed up” I said “I have just as many Questions as you man. The last thing I want is to know why in the world he would do that” so we agreed to not play that Song.

@@cius96 yes, unfortunately a lot of songs have the top few scores faked. I think GHA was one of the games where there wasn't any fake records.

This was one of the purchaseable bonus songs, not one of the free main campaign songs. The bonus songs tend to be more focused around genres that are trendy and popular during the game's development.

@@meanmrmusician9469 Yes, it was part of the game. I just meant that this song was part of an optional bonus venue that you had to pay in-game money for to unlock. It wasn't part of the main campaign venues that you didn't have to pay any in-game money for to unlock it.

1) This is my closest-to-FC-but-never-FCed-Expert Guitar run, also good for getting Solo Streaker cash.
2) The whole thing about the (now former) lead vocalist is a complete fabrication. Worse! It is a paid-for ACT. Why? Because this type of nonsense sells, and sells big. He's not in prison, he's in some underground NWO-style bunker, definitely not serving any sort of sentence. Is there any truth to any of the claims or evidence? Given the sources and their negligible reliability, not likely. It's rather sad, that someone who actually sounds good in the studio (never heard them live) would waste their talent for a lifetime of guaranteed, comfortable income, but he's not the first, nor will be the last. There are a lot of these kinds of sellouts living even better lives for it, and guess what? The current President is one of them, and not just him, his whole family too. Scary thoughts...
3) To answer how I know about this: Governments all over the planet are not in-tune with the level of technology that's advancing, thus the level of security over precious documents holding this information are exponentially easier to access without leaving a trace. Actually, it's really easy since most people are giving less and less care to the security of this information; ESA's leaking of data on over two thousand people's info from E3 2019 being one large and recent example.
4) There are parts of this song that are charted like crap; there's a couple sections where the HOPO notes are next to impossible to hit and trying to strum them doesn't work either. I call shenanigans on that... 1:49 is one of those sections...
(after video) I still think that the effort deserves MORE THAN $1,145. This chart is terrible, though Bass is fine (haven't FCed that one either mainly because of minor difficulty spikes that make me lose focus). Vocals wouldn't be hard if the vocals engine for WT wasn't total trash (Rock Band 1 had its' own issues with the vocals engine). I still think that there's some issue with the note hit window in those HOPO sections that force misses randomly, that's only present in this iteration of GH.
Anyway, despite all that, I do like the song, and there's still resonating relatability to the song, at least for myself. Even if the former vocalist sold out, I still care much for the talent on display. I hold it separate, because, I'm not a hate mongering fool like the dumbasses of society en mass tend to be, for all the wrong reasons. Yeah, I went there.
But, I'd rather talk about how I'd improve this awful chart. Of course, it's more playable on the likes of Phase Shift, and Clone Hero, but that's not the point; you're playing on the original hardware with the original software disc, so...
