Text book on how to hike smart, and safely in the Grand Canyon!! All your gear, and the shoes were on point! Outstanding job! I'll be there in 2 days, to run the same route, but I'll be starting at the North Rim Lodge, to make it a marathon. I appreciate being able to see the current trail conditions, thank you!
Thank you for sharing. We are hiking from SR to NR on Sept 14th via South Kaibab. Curious how temps were beyond Cottonwood and Manzanita during your hike. You did great timing and made it look easy. I like your umbrella. Where can we get it?
@@markiv6057 The forecasted high was around 106F at the base of the canyon but not sure what it actually hit. I was surprised that I never really felt hot. There was usually a good breeze or shade and staying soaked certainly helped. The umbrella is from Gossamer Gear. Good luck and have fun.
