After seeing Dawn of the Dead just a few weeks ago for the first time, I wish I had seen it sooner so I could have gotten that big set because I loved this movie. But the 'standard' second sight 4K is still a cool boxset which I am happy with
Yep, that Second Sight Dawn of the Dead is probably my most prized 4k in my collection. It also happens to be my favorite horror film of all time, so I'm biased. And man, Ken, if I had known you haven't seen the REC movies yet, I would have recommended REC 1 and 2, back to back, for your Halloween watching this year. Just an incredible found footage double feature there.
My favorite horror boxset in my collection is the Terrifier 1+2 'This is Art' boxset from Umbrella. Sold out within the pre order window. And I haven't seen anyone show it off surprisingly. Makes me think it's super rare. But I got it and it's my favorite because I love those movies. Also Empire of Screams is amazing. That probably is the BEST boxset ever. lol
@@markpugh6808 I had to go look. That is crazy. I'm so glad I got it. I remember pre ordering the minute I got an email from them. I did the same with Kids boxset. You gotta keep up with them or else you'll miss it.
I got the Universal classic monster boxsets imported from USA this week . Love the hardback book look . Murder getting the discs out though. Ny fav boxset is Arrows Ju-on The Grudge boxset.
Prized horror collection so far. 1. Tie Friday the 13th Box Set(Shout Factory) & the Best Buy (Paramount/ Warner Bros) limited edition Tin Case 2.Hellraiser 1-4 boxset (Arrow) 3.Psycho Boxset (Arrow) 4.The Fly Collection (Shout Factory) 5.Dawn of the Dead (Second Sight)
Some of the favorites in my collection are the Picnic at Hanging Rock set from Second Sight, and the Resident Evil Blu-ray set from Japan, that recreates the laser hallway scene with a clear plastic panel that slides inside the box
I don't know why I see it like this, but I only consider it a Box set when it contains more than one movie. I'm definitely jealous of some of these though
I'm shocked that you have some DVDs since you're so anti-DVDs. I have most of those boxed sets except that silver Dawn Of The Dead boxed set it looks awesome. Great collection good showing and cool video Ken!👉😃👈
I have that Nightmare on Elm street DVD box set as well. It's probably really the only horror box set I own as I'm not a huge horror fan. I think it came out in the late '90s because I remember buying it before I moved across country in 2000. Like you were, I'm holding out on upgrading until there's a 4k boxset. Until then I'm content with the DVD set. It is pretty cool looking.
That beetlejuice box looks RIDICULOUS!!! I have a very unique big box set of “I spit on your grave” and Deja Vu (Deja Vu SUCKS!) from Ronin Flix. It’s a very unique set with a book and a few posters with of course both the films in their cases. Probably my most rare or “least know” boxset in my collection thus far. Thanks for sharing my brother!
I’ve got the Friday the 13th boxset, which is one of my favourites… the Dawn of the Dead is also special… and yes, bring out a 4K Nightmare on Elm Street set 🙏🏻
I LOVE my Nightmare on Elm Street DVD set. I'll probably keep it if/when we finally get that 4k set. I still have that Scream DVD set you referenced. It's a very cool set. That said, you still have lots of stuff I don't and I loved seeing it.
I have some DVD boxsets you don’t have: Ringu Anthology Of Terror (Ringu, Ringu 2, Rasen, Ringu 0) Jess Franco Collection (Female Vampire, A Virgin Among The Living Dead, The Sadistic Baron Von Klaus, Oasis Of The Zombies) The Zombie Pack (Zombi 3, Zombie 4: After Death, Zombie 5: Killing Birds) The Zombie Pack 2 (Burial Grounds, Flesh Eater, Zombie Holocaust) Sleepaway Camp Survival Kit (Sleepaway Camp, Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers, Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland) The Wes Craven Collection (Dracula 2000, Dracula II: Ascention, Dracula III: Legacy) Horror Classics 100 Movies Pack Fright Night (Kill Baby Kill, Devil’s Nightmare, Gold Told Me To, Good Against Evil, Pieces, Kiss Me Kill Me, Satan’s School For Girls, The Night Evelyn Came Out Of The Grave, Cathy’s Curse, The Ghost) Vault Of Horror (Scream Of The Wolf, Wolf Man, Moon Of The Wolf, Snow Beast, Silent Night Bloody Night, Don’t Look In The Basement, Jack The Ripper, Satanic Rites Of Dracula, House On Haunted Hill, Night Of The Living Dead) Tales Of Terror (Deep Red The Hatchet Murders, Christmas Evil, Web Of The Spider, Circus Of Fear, House On The Egde Of The Park, Messiah Of Evil, Die Sister Die, Lady Frankenstein, The Werewolf And The Vampire Woman, Sisters Of Death) The Exorcist: The Complete Anthology (The Exorcist: The Original Classic, The Exorcist: The Version You’ve Never Seen, Exorcist II: The Heretic, Exorcist III, Exorcist: The Beginning, Dominion: Prequel To The Exorcist)
I'm sorry man, but some boxsets are a little over the top. Some are so big they take up too much space. Books , posters, toys, and cards are not that important to me. Cover artwork and special features are adequate enough.
@@MikeBarratt-lk3gtThe only retraction I have in elaborate boxsets is the Nightmare on Elm Street DVD. I think it's so cool that I would like to see one produced in 4K. No deviation. I would jump on that in a NY minute.
@@m.dorado6966 same it's crazy to me that the 1999 dvd box set is still the best release of that franchise it's crying out for a upgrade that blyray set that was put out was just so lame.
Personally I hate special features, they’re almost all worthless, especially the modern “appreciations” they do. An exception would be the LOTR and hobbit extras; those are remarkable.
Am I the only person who thinks Dawn of the Dead is just "meh"? Like it's a very fun movie, but I don't get the love. I rewatched it last month for the first time in forever, it was good, but I do think it's over hyped.
I missed out on that Arrow box of Demons but i did score the Synapse version. You have to watch it! I saw it on its theatrical release in ‘86. It was a special moment as the theater I saw it in was my childhood theater but by my late teens it was pretty run down so I sat my punk rock butt down with a pack of smokes and a couple o’ beers like I said the theater was pretty run down and know one gave a shit what went on. Seems like every Italian zombie flick played there back then. Good times. My favorite in my collection is The Planet of The Apes where the discs are inside a bust of Ceaser, this was the original apes. It had the original films, the animated series, the TV show and the Burton remake they’re DVDs but the bust is awesome
Razorback is a classic Aussie movie from the 80's horror comedy, you'll get a laugh out of it
Second release of Dawn Of The Dead is good I missed out on that one
That Battle Royale set behind you is like “you gotta be kidding me”

They appear on Ebay sometimes for crazy money I managed to get one before it sold out

Great lot of cool titles I'm glad I own most of the box sets in this video👍👍
My favorite is my stranger things 4k s1 and s2 boxsets. Total nostalgia from the show and the boxsets.
The Fly is one of the greatest boxed sets out there. My father and I watched all 5 movies with all the extra stuff. Every movie is good, too.
The original film and the Jeff Goldblum one and it's Sequel are good the other 2 films in black and white are crap
Awesome box set collection Ken 👍
Dude you have to watch REC! The first is my favorite found-footage film!
Terrifier 1 and 2 Limited Edition boxset from Umbrella Entertainment is my favourite horror boxset
i used to have that nightmare on elm street set but got rid of it when i started to upgrade to bluray now im kicking myself for getting rid of it😂
It’s a shame the BluRay set is such a downgrade in packaging and presentation from the DVD set for NOES.

Unsolved mysteries

Thanks for watching Dell! I might asked to be buried with that Nightmare set honestly. 😂
I hope Michelle is available for the next monthly audit.
Sweet boxsets Ken.
The best box sets in my collection, including the best movies I’ve never seen (Demons).
I have the omen box set and the fly box set as well. Awesome box sets!
No Dolby vision on that dawn of the dead

mean streets box set out uk jan - second sight
Most of my box sets are TV series.
Do the 4 Species collection discs play in US/Region A players?
I doubt it Ryan
doesn't the 13th box set have bad discs in it??? yet another disc replacement box set:(
