One day... A person that is going through something will read this comment, or that person might just scroll down without reading this. That person is standing tall and never loses faith and hope. That person is kindhearted and a fighter, that person lost a lot of battles but never gave up. No matter what happened, that person stayed conscious through chaos and confusing situations. And at the end that person will eventually get through all their hardships because they never gave up. Then they'll live happily ever after, the end~
Bell bottoms & clogs and disco lights complete with Mirror Ball...OH YEAH!!! Born 1973...sucker for the super smooth feel of this song...makes me cry & I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT!!!!
My boyfriend is going through a hard time right now, and I'm there with him every step of the way. People criticize us because of our relationship (he's white) but we're still going strong. This is our song.
There are truly classic songs, and this is one of them. I was born in 64, was about 11 or 12 when it was recorded, and still listen to it today. Truly classic.
Pedro Caballero They sure don't. It's a shame. It's rare for my generation to appreciate this. But the minority of us will keep pass this to our children! Don't worry!
Oh my gosh. Music evolves. Okay? In a couple of decades people are gonna point to this generation's music and say "they just don't make music like this anymore!" I bet if someone for the 16th century heard this song they'd say "what happened to music over the years?!" It's just a part of life, accept it instead of insisting that your generation was better than the new one.
Listen first I can tell u r young second u r telling me tha music now days is better! U r out if your mind tell me who??? Drake,Nicky minaj tell me who please!! Why do u think people still love music form the '60 or'70 cause they were really good
This is how a song should be. Melody, passion, and an intense refrain. God I miss the 70,s and 80,s good times.happy times I'm 13 years old right now but loving more of these kinds of music :)
It's amazing how fine the line between love and stalking is! That line about her wandering away and how he wants to feel her in his arms again can be debated about it's sweetness and obsessiveness.
Whenever I hear this....it takes me back to our High School Graduation night.....ST. STEPHEN HIGH SCHOOL "Class of 1978"....at the Border Area Arena in St. Stephen, NB, Canada. The band they had hired to play was from 'over the River" in Maine...and was not allowed across Customs at the last minute.....so we marched in, in our GRAND MARCH, to "Pretty Lady" by Trooper...and had our first GRAD'S DANCE to "How Deep Is Your Love" by the Bee Gees. Looking back...almost 37 years later....I realize what a carefree, special time that was in our lives! So glad I was a teenager during the '70s.....wish I could turn back the clock...even for a little while!
Im glad the lyrics to this upload has it correct and says" I really MEAN to learn " ,cause most versions I see has the wrong lyrics of " I really NEED to learn."
Waah~ makes me remember my childhood. Where my dad drives and mom's in the front and me and my brother in the back. And this song just plays in the radio whenever it gets dark. Those times when my parents where still alive. I'm 17 and it's been 7 years.. I sure do miss them.
I like music from every genre (mainly Rock and Hip/Hop) but I definitely appreciate and listen to old music like this (why I'm here.) The problem is that not many people want to give different types of music a chance as they're stubborn.
People enjoy what they can enjoy, so it's normal they praise those types of music they like and criticize others. Don't you worry about these kinds of music getting no chance to live on, cuz their gold in their own way and there are people still loving them. Enjoy what you can!
I was first exposed to this song when my mom played it while cleaning. I've enjoyed it ever since. Such an adorable song "We're living in a world of fools breaking us down" is truer now than it was in 1978
I love this song by them. The lyrics are beautiful. It was the song that myself and my late hubby 1st danced to and remained in love with it until he passed away sadly and suddenly 14 years ago last month aged just 41. I still love you my Angel in the stars.
One of the best songs ever written. When I was a 9 year old boy I felt that the whole disco era was kind of magical. So much beauty came out of that era. I've never had that feeling like that since. Can you imagine this song coming out today? It would destroy everything out there right now. Adele? She's awesome but not even close to this.
This song makes me cry every time I hear it because of a relationship I was in at the time, it come out. And not everybody agreed with it..I still love him to this day even if he's married to another. I love the BeeGees, and always will thank you for posting.
Wow!! Praise Jesus!! Heard this on tim hetherington documentary 'which way is the front line from here'-- lyrics are straight from the bible!! Tim's love for people shows he was a Christian as does the placement of the song!!

I was six when this amazing song was released and when I went to usa for the first time. I think that things were much better back then, and for some reason this song is a real proof of that.
