He just blew Vince gill away on this don't get me wrong vince gill version is great but he just took this to another level awesome cover by daily and Vincent
Gotta disagree. Check out “Nashville Skyline” w Vince, Guy Clark, Rodney Crowell live in the round. I was actually sitting with Tim Dubois (Vince’s manager) cutting a Restless Heart video when the producer brought us the 3/4” videotape to the offline edit suite. Tim explained that he wasn’t able to break through w Vince even though he was a phenomenal guitarist, writer, and, obviously, singer; 3 months later “When I Call Your Name” which he co-wrote w Vince broke and the rest is history
😢So sad! Beautifully done, Jamie! The emotion was so convincing- made me shed a few tears! Not the first time your singing has had that effect on me! Very intense! Your vibrato gives me chills! In a good way!
Magnífica música,suave........belo arranjo. Música para ouvir,na estrada....... viajando sem rumo, seguindo as batidas do coração apaixonado a procura de seu par ❤
I saw him early on in his solo career he did that on Austin City Limits acoustic by himself. Stellar performance and I wish they would have it somewhere for all to see. He still says he doesn't like doing the song as it's so personal about what he was going through at that time.
Good grief this is awesome!
Absolutely beautiful song,he sang it perfectly
Wow - great version! Always loved Vince Gill with this and this is beautiful as well!

Love theses guys they were so amazing at the paramount in Bristol. I just was so amazed how good they are.
To me, this song has a Glen Campbell feel to it, which is a very good thing.👍
Yes it does
Got a pretty good Vince Gill feel to it, too, seeing as how it’s his song…
😢I’m gonna miss u mom mom passed away at 156 am this past Thursday morning

Perfection Yall!! Where has this Dailey and Vincent been??!! These originals ARE AMAZING!!
Undortunately, this isn’t a Dailey and Vincent original. Great song, but it’s a Vince Gill tune.
I love the Vince Gill original version.

@@kjinohio5897 there's a couple of live solo acoustic videos of it on here by Vince.
Ryan Lee

This is a beautiful song, period, but I like Jamie's version better than Vince Gill's.
Yes he sung it better 😢
