This was such a good haul - thanks for sharing! I think we should normalize buying, selling, AND wearing flawed items. It just means they have a story to tell and they can still look amazing! 😊
Absolutely!! I agree, clothes are meant to be worn and that means they won't look like new forever. Someone suggested adding the flawed items to the Whatnot show anyway and doing a lower bid. I think I will do that :)
Just found this channel, great content. I'm kinda tripping out right now, bc you are the SECOND thrift video I've seen that keeps saying "this is sooo vintage 90's style" or "this is giving total 90's vibe". I was like, "what, huh, the 90's was not THAT long ago" wtf?!? However, last week my son said i was born in the "late 1900's"... Seriously 😳
ON THE leather skirt, it looked like there might be something (maybe a brand name) written on the back of the zipper hardware when you were showing it, in your video while you were at the bins. Just a possibility, so I thought it is worth mentioning. Very nice haul!
3 ways i have dealt with musty smell. 1 and the easiest is for books but clothing also. Rubbermaid container that has a lid. Lots of baking soda (i used a 5 lb box). Add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Close it up with items for a couple weeks. You can probably check after a week. The other is to wash with washing soda, vinegar and borax then i either add lavender oil or teatree/cinnamon oil etc if its really bad. I had everything go musty at my cottage after the dehumidifiers failed.
Baking soda is the BEST at removing smells. I found a gorgeous leather coat once and did not realize it had a cigarette smell. I did a few rounds of baking soda and it is so much better. I never thought to add essential oils though!! I am going to try that next time :) thanks for the tip!
On the black shirt that is missing a button on the cuff….check the inseam on the shit for a possible extra button. Well made clothing with buttons usually put extra buttons on the inseam. Also, on stains , wet spot warm water, get a bar of ivory hand soap, rub on stain let it set for a few minutes. Then with fingers rub spot, if still a little visible put a drop of Dawn dish soap on spot, rub in, let rest a few minutes, rinse, then pat excess water out with dry wash cloth or hand towel. Hang dry. Hope this helps, also use on other stains.
What happened to the black patchwork, bodycon mini dress? I absolutely loved it! Your haul is bringing back memories( 60+ girl here!) Thank you so much for such a detailed video!🙏🏼
Dryel doesn’t actually clean anything. It just makes garments smell good. Dryel is a useless product, you’re better off hand-washing or taking it to an actual dry cleaners. Dry cleaning uses liquid solvents instead of soap and water which is why it’s called dry cleaning.
How have you washed things when the tags are still on? Even if something is brand new from the bins, I still wash and disinfect. You find the best pieces!
I think Jackie Jon is vintage and they made formal dresses as well. What a fantastic haul, those designer pieces! How do they end up in the bins? Can’t imagine
love your videos so much!! i live in houston as well and love your recommendations. what camera do you film on if you don’t mind? your quality is super clear!
🥺💖 thank you so much!! For thrift with me’s I use my iphone. I think I have the 13 pro. I try to make sure the lens is clean and only use the back camera. At home for hauls I use the eosM50. Feel free to message me on insta too 🫶
Would a Google reverse image search help with the leather skirt? I know you have to take the photo from far enough away that it looks a lot smaller than you’d think you would take as a photo
This video popped up in my suggestions. You got really great finds. The only thing I would enjoy more is hearing the sizes on all items. I saw a couple I would check out on Poshmark for sure but would be even more tempting if I knew they were the right size. Great video though
Hi! I do not live in San Antonio but here is a link to all the Goodwill locations in SA. I believe the one labeled clearance center is the bins! www.goodwillsa.org/locations?location_type=shop
Can you add a segment on your whatnot sale where you list the “flawed” items? They all look so dang cute! I bet they would sell well at a reduced price! Just a thought. 😊
Thank you!! The brand is Aerie but I bought it ThredUp 🫶 I just ordered some more stuff on ThredUp. Should I do a haul & show ya’ll my *secret* source?
Lovely clothes, you have a good eye. I would take everything with stains on to the dry cleaners with the other things that need dry cleaning. Nothing one can do with faded fabric that could have been hanging in the sunlight on a rail or clothes that have moth holes. Yoy didnt mwntion the size of the clothes. They all look small to medium. I hope you sell everything. 😎👍 Cheers from Germany 👋👋
The vintage Big Ben overalls I found will probably be perfect for you!! I am typically a 4/6 and they fit so well. They will be in the show 🫶 I’ll try to add a try on pic too

I go to the thrifts in my area often and I never see the kind of quality clothing pieces you find in yours. I find nice things, but silk and cashmere, $500 dresses? No. Good for you tho.
Where are your gloves, for goodness sake, you are going to have snacks with hands that have touched god knows what, GLOVES AND HAND SANITISER A MUST HAVE
You must have hit a day when a severe hoarder cleaned out or passed away. Often find many clothes still in bags never worn when cleaning out. This is a hoarder with money or good credit….for awhile.
Heck yaaas baby clothes at the bins is the best they grow so fast
I swear you look away for a moment and then poof they’re 15 pounds heavier and 3 inches taller

I love that you find these items, save by cleaning them properly per garment need and keeping out of the landfill. Well done 👏👏👏👏
you are so pretty and this haul is INSANNEEE. when you immediately picked up aviator nation I was like OHHHH?!?!

lol! I was also born in the late 1900’s then 😂 For clothing to be vintage it’s just 20 years….now an antique is 100
I wish you would have done a try on for several of the pieces❤❤
I know!! I usually do but I was tired after running through everything.
You always have this bright and positive vibe! It’s so refreshing to watch your videos!
Thank you so much!!

Always check the lower seams for extra buttons.
Loved all you got! And it's also so releiving that you "saved" those clothes❤ hope everything sells on you watnot! Such amazing pieces

FYI- if it's granny square, it's most likely crocheted, not knitted :)
oooo!! Thanks for the insight!
I use the dryel at home dry cleaning packets from target when I have a lot of dry cleaning stuff from the thrift. They work great!
I have never tried that. I think I will pick some up today and give it a shot 👀
Thanks for the recommendation! 🫶
I do that as well! No professional drycleaners where I live ..

I love your passion for thrift!❤
Wow! What an amazing bins trip!
You’re very good with finding quality items ❤ Love it
Thank you!! 🫶 I try ✨
You did very well in that haul, also for washable clothing I used quarter cup pinesol and use the dryer system cleaner, I got it from walwart
Thank you!! Will have to look into it :)
‘Back to human clothing’ 😂 😂
This made me cackle 😂😂😅😅
Everything is such a lovely find. I wish we had goodwill bins in my hometown 😍
I cannot wait to go to these thrift stores.❤
Screaming over your amazing finds!! I so need a bins visit!!
Same!! I too screamed. I always love the bins BUT this was an epic trip.
My fav I went to my local goodwill outlet this weekend :)
The best!! Hope you found some amazing pieces :)
Check out laundry stripping you can even do it in the washing machine. Maybe that will be a good option for the sheets😊
Omg I need that aviator nation and the alo bag so jealous
How have you washed things when the tags are still on? Even if something is brand new from the bins, I still wash and disinfect. You find the best pieces!
Your so lucky to have found such great items! Our Goodwill bins are gross and so dirty and just have junk
That’s how ours are, I’m so jealous of her thrift stores!!!
Amazing finds!!! I found a nwt reformation maxi for $1 last week this is so exciting
I'm so freaking excited for you! Such incredible finds! My favorite is definitely the green dress. It's so unique 💚
i just found your fabulous channel and L-O-V-E all of your finds .♥ I am a new subbie and will be binge watching (can't wait until the weekend) 🤣
Loved the rosette brown top was my fav ❤😊
I think Jackie Jon is vintage and they made formal dresses as well. What a fantastic haul, those designer pieces! How do they end up in the bins? Can’t imagine
Rich people are crazy, aren’t they?
I LOVE the Bins!! I have found items to sell & keep.
Me too!! The dig at the bins is so fun 🤩
The white viscose dress - could you cut off the flaw and make it a midi instead of a maxi ? It’s beautiful!
Yes! I was thinking that or even a blouse depending on the stains placement with the seams / tiers.
love your videos so much!! i live in houston as well and love your recommendations. what camera do you film on if you don’t mind? your quality is super clear!

Blue Dawn dish detergent works wonders on stains!
yes - blue dawn + oxiclean has done wonders!
You find absolutely the most beautiful clothing.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!

Thanks for watching! Good tip! I will try to remember to say size in the future.
Such an amazing haul !! Incredible 🎉
Truly!! I had to document it :)
New sub here. Also from Houston. Love your channel! That leather mini with the zipper might be DKNY. I had a similar one in the 90s.
Hi! Welcome 💕 that is so cool! I’ll try searching the image and adding DKNY to see if there is a match 👀
Thanks for the info & tuning in 💖
@@CuratedbyNatalie mine was white and I wound up donating it to goodwill years ago. 😀
Great vid! How do you wash the clothes but also keep with tags?
Thanks! Items that are new with tags I steam.
BOLO please if you ever find B.B. jeans from the 70’s sz 9 pick them up.
So how did you wash clothes and still keep the tags on? I assume you removed the tags and then reattached them?
Clothes that are brand new with tags I steam clean. Steaming kills 99.9% of germs and anything else that could be on there.
@ Thank you for clarifying.
I want the ba &sh off white dress. Is it still for sale?
I unfortunately was unable to get the stain out so I gave it to a friend to use for sewing projects
Your baby clothes are AWESOME!!!!!
Could you shorten the Ba Sh dress and sell it that way or keep it for yourself
That green dress gives me poison ivy vibes ❤
I'm moving to SA! Would love to know where the bins are

Thank you so much 🤗
How do you wash and sanitize clothing items that still have the original tags on them??
I steam them!
@@CuratedbyNatalie Oh!
That granny square vest 😍😍😍
Isn’t it a gem!!!
The black leather zipper skirt has the brand PRIMA printed on the zipper.
I thought that too but I looked up PRIMA & didn’t find anything. Maybe it’s a boutique? I was thinking Prima could be a zipper brand?
A mystery…
@@CuratedbyNatalie yeah zipper brand.

@@CuratedbyNatalie Right!! It’s better than nothing and the best part is that someone could enjoy those pieces! They are way too cute for a landfill!

Yes it was!! Thank You!
How did the tags sustain the laundry?
If you are referring to items that are brand new with tags. I do not wash those items only steam (steaming sanitizes).
Dont worry love - I say human too when I mean adults haha and I also say flavour of something when I mean scent - like a candle haha
Do you sell on Poshmark? If so, how do I find you on there? I’m interested in some of your pieces 💗
