- Come thrift with me at the Goodwill Outlet aka the bins where you pay by the pound! I picked up over 50 pounds while I was there. I found some insane finds like designer dresses that retail for over $500, sheets that retail for $350+, amazing vintage gems, and so much more!!
Lots of these pieces will be in an upcoming Whatnot sale with most bids starting at $10-$15 Saturday (3/30) at 6pm CST.

This was such a good haul - thanks for sharing! I think we should normalize buying, selling, AND wearing flawed items. It just means they have a story to tell and they can still look amazing! 😊
Absolutely!! I agree, clothes are meant to be worn and that means they won't look like new forever. Someone suggested adding the flawed items to the Whatnot show anyway and doing a lower bid. I think I will do that :)
Heck yaaas baby clothes at the bins is the best they grow so fast

I love that you find these items, save by cleaning them properly per garment need and keeping out of the landfill. Well done 👏👏👏👏
3 ways i have dealt with musty smell. 1 and the easiest is for books but clothing also. Rubbermaid container that has a lid. Lots of baking soda (i used a 5 lb box). Add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Close it up with items for a couple weeks. You can probably check after a week.
The other is to wash with washing soda, vinegar and borax then i either add lavender oil or teatree/cinnamon oil etc if its really bad. I had everything go musty at my cottage after the dehumidifiers failed.
Baking soda is the BEST at removing smells. I found a gorgeous leather coat once and did not realize it had a cigarette smell. I did a few rounds of baking soda and it is so much better. I never thought to add essential oils though!! I am going to try that next time :) thanks for the tip!

I know!! I usually do but I was tired after running through everything.
ON THE leather skirt, it looked like there might be something (maybe a brand name) written on the back of the zipper hardware when you were showing it, in your video while you were at the bins. Just a possibility, so I thought it is worth mentioning. Very nice haul!

The black leather zipper skirt has the brand PRIMA printed on the zipper.
I thought that too but I looked up PRIMA & didn’t find anything. Maybe it’s a boutique? I was thinking Prima could be a zipper brand?

I would take everything with stains on to the dry cleaners with the other things that need dry cleaning.
Nothing one can do with faded fabric that could have been hanging in the sunlight on a rail or clothes that have moth holes.
Yoy didnt mwntion the size of the clothes.
They all look small to medium.

This video popped up in my suggestions. You got really great finds. The only thing I would enjoy more is hearing the sizes on all items. I saw a couple I would check out on Poshmark for sure but would be even more tempting if I knew they were the right size. Great video though

Would a Google reverse image search help with the leather skirt? I know you have to take the photo from far enough away that it looks a lot smaller than you’d think you would take as a photo

Nice haul
Knitting and crochet are 2 seperate things. Granny squares are always and only crochet. Sweaters are almost always knitted. Knitting is 2 needles crochet you only use one needle. Not interchangeable

How did the tags sustain the laundry?
If you are referring to items that are brand new with tags. I do not wash those items only steam (steaming sanitizes).
How do you wash and sanitize clothing items that still have the original tags on them??

You must have hit a day when a severe hoarder cleaned out or passed away. Often find many clothes still in bags never worn when cleaning out. This is a hoarder with money or good credit….for awhile.
No Mary, the bins are sourced with clearance and overflow from multiple area Goodwill stores. They are unlikely to all be from one individual.

I use the dryel at home dry cleaning packets from target when I have a lot of dry cleaning stuff from the thrift. They work great!

Dryel doesn’t actually clean anything. It just makes garments smell good. Dryel is a useless product, you’re better off hand-washing or taking it to an actual dry cleaners. Dry cleaning uses liquid solvents instead of soap and water which is why it’s called dry cleaning.
Could you shorten the Ba Sh dress and sell it that way or keep it for yourself
