- Scott was abandoned as a child in South Korea, adopted by American parents, and then re-abandoned to a boarding school for wayward children after he turned to drugs and crime. He started dealing drugs like fentanyl, heroine, methamphetamine, and opioids. Some of these drugs killed his best friend, and then Scott died from a drug overdose and encountered demons from the underworld. His story is both tragic and uplifting as he journeyed through several prisons where he was attacked because of his ethnicity. He lived the streets when not incarcerated. And finally through a miraculous turnaround Scott discovered Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Today Scott's mission is to counsel people against illegal drug use in service to the One who saved his life.

Man this guy has been through a lot. Praise God he now is saved by the blood of the lamb. My niece died 2 years ago of heroin overdose laced with fentanyl. In fact we knew 4 people in an 8 week period who all overdosed due to fentanyl. I’ve always been mad, and frustrated with whomever it was that sold her that stuff. I now feel the word come over forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. We are all broken people in a broken world. Thank God for Jesus our Lord! Come quickly Lord.

I have no idea where he’s spending eternity All I know So many many prayers my daddy and mummy said for that death bed confession must have come true I’m so glad God took them home to Heaven before they saw how awful my brother looked at the end of his life !!
To deal with the trauma I listen to Christian music which helps so so much Singers like ‘ Mercy Me ‘ Lauren Daigle Cory Ashbury have got me through days when I could hardly get out of bed ….Oh and I’d advise you to Sing because when we sing the devil is silenced He has no power over our mental state I also have a son with special needs Our God given gift God bless you Loren All my love from N.Ireland Hugs many Hugs I send to you x

My fall into drugs was short lived ; one day at 22, God supernaturally extracted me from the situation. I packed up and took a train home. I felt for years and still do, that I am so blessed to have been given an entire adult life of walking head high with my eyes set on 'my' Christ. I pray over Scott. May the Lord cleanse and purify your soul; may he keep barricades around you against those demons of addiction; may your eyes forever more REST on 'your' Christ.

Randy: Thank you for allowing Scot to continue in his talk (even though it was drawn out and low going). It very nicely illustrates:
1. God's tolerance and patience
2. The strength of drug addiction to enslave its victims even after having a supernatural experience.
3. The need for us not to write off offenders and especially repeat offenders as God certainly does not give up on them.

If I can do it you can! Try AA or other 12 step programs gaina support system of friends trying to be sober and you will. The steps are based on Christian principles which is why they work

A support group like Celebrate Recovery is essential to your success. Find one in your area. My brother died an early death because of drugs. I miss him everyday. I will be praying for you dear one. Jesus sees you and loves you immensely, deeply, so much so He died for you as if you were the only person alive. Take each day as it comes. God bless you.

I had a similar younger life. The devil had me too. Demons were everywhere and I was evil. I’m so blessed to have released this over 34 years ago. I didn’t go to prison like him. However, my family couldn’t help me and i went into foster care. My younger life and teenage life led me into the same situation. I’m so proud of this guy and all of you. If you struggle, please know you really aren’t alone. God saved my life and got me through hell. Now, I’ve been married 27 years. We have five beautiful children and one grandchild. Life isn’t always easy, it can be very hard. Let Jesus be your rock. Hold onto Him and He will bring you through. Praise God!! 🙌

Great testimony ! I have a similar testimony. I don't believe addiction is a disease, I believe its a strong hold by the enemy, after me being addicted to meth for years I quit cold turkey by fasting and prayers of deliverance! I prayed for God to break the chains that the devil had on me ! Alllll the glory to God!

Yes, that's true, and emotional wounds are the way that happens. Abuse and rejection does that, people try to self- medicate their emotions because they are dysregulated by trauma.

I agree with Randy, never stop praying. Just because you may not see the fruit of your prayers now, or even in your lifetime, does not mean your prayers will go unanswered. I believe a prayer never dies until it is answered.
Prayers for your daughter! Mine was/is an alcoholic and also was raised in a good home with horses, music, ballet lessons etc. and went to Christian school!
Command those demons away from your child. Re-claim her in Christ. You must fight. Also Do Fasting, Offer up to Jesus.
My son is 90 days clean in church working and meetings recently someone told me God couldn't even save my son he is 31 but God showed up and showed up. God said raise them in the way of the Lord and he will bring them back and I kept that in my heart when praying 🙏 for him continuously. God is doing an amazing work in his life. He was on the streets. I was preparing for the end. But instead God gave him a new beginning
Trust God keep praying hold on to God's promise. God is able can and will. In the name of Jesus. God bless you. Don't stop praying for your daughter and her salvation. Hang on to God's promises. He hasn't had a drink cigarette or meth now in 90 days he was so close to his life being over. Ppl were saying God couldn't save and help him. God showed up and showed out. Randy is such a great interviewer. He asks good, relevant questions but he gives them all the time necessary to share their stories without interrupting. It's a joy to listen to. Sometimes I forget Randy is there until he pops in once in a while lol. Some hosts make the show too annoying to watch bc they overpower their guests sorta speak. Thanks Randy!

I have said the same exact thing. I can't listen to some people interview others because they interrupt their guests constantly while they are trying to make a point. So much so that the interview-ee forgets what he/she was saying. Randy is one of the best.

Oh my goodness I can't even imagine the level and depth of rejection and abandonment woundings this poor man had in his heart that lead him down the path he found himself on. Absolutely heartbreaking! If only we had a glimpse of peoples pasts and the things people go through, we would have so much more compassion and love for each other

Thank you for sharing your story. I can truly relate to it. I am a 30 year heroin addict alcoholic meth user drug dealer for years. 3 years ago i finally changed everything . I too am in recovery but most of all i am trying to finally get the friendship with jesus christ i should have had all my life. That has been what means everything to me. I wish I knew you, so you could come live with my family! I have an adopted Korean daughter who is 57 years old now! God loves you, was aware of what you went through and has His hand on you! He has a plan for your life! There is a church in Edmonds, Washington called Westgate Chapel that has a beautiful home for men to help over drugs and alcohol. They now have a woman’s home! You need to get in a church that experiences the power of God!

I've prayed for this guy to stay sober and receive blessings from God. The amount of stuff he's been through has made me re-evaluate MY life and be thankful for what I have and haven't been through. What an awesome and brave young man Scott I prayed for you your friend and family. Stay strong and Jesus loves you. I have a friend who struggles with addiction and I pray for him and his girlfriend all the time they both also suffer from abuse rejection and loss, so I understand your pain.
You have to feel for this guy. He had such a rough life, such lack of love of stability, from both his biological parents and adoptive parents. I think that lack of love, of stability even from his adoptive “parents” may have driven him to a wayward life.

This story was amazing! My cousin was found in Korea on a Church step. They assumed he was 3, and we celebrate his birthday on the day he was found. My aunt and uncle were really good to him and therefore he did not have to go through all of these terrible things that that this Scott did because he was shown love and acceptance! My heart goes out to him and so do my prayers. My cousins American name is Scott as well and he and his wife are my favorite family members, totally awesome and funny human beings!❤️

Sometimes I complain or feel bad about my life and circumstances until I listen to something like this and realize I really dont have it so bad.

The fact that you brought up that looking to God as a Heavenly Father didn’t resonate with you because of your feelings about your own dad…..that was a perspective I’ve never heard before and made so much sense to me. I accepted Jesus at 16, I'm 47 now never did drugs, or prison time so it's hard for me to relate to this story but I hope you don't relapse again it sounds like you had a thousand second chances, many people don't get that many chances. Don't waste it.
Seriously, Scott sounds like he does NOT intend to waste his chance to get past all this stuff. I know about these private prisons, corporations are wanting a high incarceration rate,so they can profit. So much corruption in America. I hope Scott will get the emotional and spiritual healing he needs in general. Addicts use the drugs to self- medicate,but that backfires all the time on people. You can't regulate your emotional traumas that way, of course. I'm so happy to hear he became a Christian !
Man .......I so relate to this guy's testimony. I've been in and out of jail probably over 20 times too. Almost went to prison. Multiple rehabs. Was also in the drug world. It's horrible. Addiction is terrible and of the devil. And only God and Jesus and get you out of it. AA can lead you to God and God can lead you to AA. Doing the steps worked for me. But ultimately it was the step where we find a God that we learn to trust to help us get sober since we can't. It works.

PS: This guy really went through A LOT. And I have been quite a lot of trauma myself, man....this guy is up there. Scott’s testimony was very sad but beautiful that he overcame his drug addictions. I pray for his health and I was so impressed with his desire to fight to keep his parental rights.
My prayers go out to you. Stay strong in the Lord. My son also got involved with meth and caused a hugh rift with me and the family but by God's grace he is clean now.

Rich, I am praying for you. Let God take over. He loves you. Long story, but I experienced the love of God in an experience where I was about to go to hell. Period for real, no figurative language being used here. God sent an angel that snatched me out of it. The love of God that I witnessed is not an emotion humans feel. It’s like being gripped by a magnet that holds the universe together is the only way I can put it. If you trust Him and pray without ceasing, He will save you. I am praying for you, friend. And I believe in you.
