Outside of the occasional one-off issue, it would be four years before Felix Comics, Inc. released another full series.
This new series, "Felix the Cat in B&W, " comprised 8 issues published between 1997 and 1999.
Like the comics before, these books consisted of all-new stories. However, since the previous releases didn't attain the popularity of the original comics, the decision was made to switch to black-and-white printing to reduce costs.
Although Felix Comics, Inc. continued to release Felix comics after this, "Felix the Cat in B&W" marked their final series.
