I am a fanboy of Sister True Dedication (it’s true!) While I appreciate many dharma talks, she is one of my favorites. My current anxiety is wondering the role I can play, however small, in helping the situation in Palestine. There are innocent people we should be protecting from eminent war.
I think the threat of a Nuclear war is a more obvious threat to civilisation and it's interesting that the masses are worried about something that, no more than the ice age, is outside human control. So, the media is silent on something that humanity could definitely fix. Of course, set us free from fear and panic still applies 😊
"a flower is not a flower and that is why it can be truly called a flower. " Soooo Robert ( me😊) is not Robert, and that is why you can truly call me Robert? As in not my true self? I think I'm into something ... Or lost lolol ♥️🙏
" alcolyc anonymus" is the best, yet ,go for medi ation. Buddhhism is for something else.It doesn,t cure psychomatic illneses.I am a Buddhhist and have a " PTSD". I like sisyer true dedication.Just take" Prosac" and" clonasepam"
I continue to be disappointed by Plum Village leadership in their exposing practitioners to the harms of covid 19 infection, excluding disabled folks, and also pretending as if the pandemic is over. Discussing "eating alone" without mentioning the risk of covid and long covid is harmful. In 2019 I wanted to live in PV for 1 year volunteering, but I will likely never attend an in person retreat as long as covid continues to circulate in the population
Dear Beloved Community, The physical | sexual and mental violence enacted on cows and chickens when their bodies are exploited and they are killed would seem to be the antithesis of compassion. Calves and chicks are taken away from their parents and worse (see “maceration” of chicks and male baby cows as examples). What if dogs and cats were put in their place? What if we were put in their place? Why is compassion for other living, sentient beings labeled as “militant” and “fierce” and “brutal?” The word “militant” has to do with violence | aggression | combat, which is exactly what is done to certain other animal kin for the sake of our convenience (among other things). Yet, this adjective (as well as the word “dogmatic”) is used to describe those who defend these vulnerable beings from being used | harmed. While it is understandable that “human flexibility” is important, especially in interfaith gatherings and in the effort to keep group harmony, when it is possible and practicable to be vegan, why choose cruelty? There are delicious vegan ice creams, vegan pizzas, etc. There are vegan shoes and clothing. There is entertainment that doesn’t exploit other Earthlings. May all inter beings be well, free from suffering. With respect and a bow of gratitude for our collective movement onward and upward, Peaceful Opening of the Source

Isn't impermanence called into question by the quantum particles, like electrons, which seem to be eternal?
