Great video, very engaging with strong food for thought. I love those photos - it's always a bit daunting when the weather is grotty, or dull, but creativity fights through each time.
Another nice episode. I used to train teachers. How I wish I had your videos available to use as exemplars. You organize your thoughts, present clearly, reinforce concepts.
Beautiful video. I really love watching how you create beauty and explain the process your mind goes through in that creativity. I shared this on my Facebook wall. Your images are stunning and I always learn from you. Thank you!
Love that last image with the tree , nice use of a linear gradient in the bottom left to darken it and push your eye across the diagonal to the light . ❤
I like the video and how you explain things. I just wish there were more videos out there with more advanced techniques. Every tutorial out there right now explains the same thing. Your videos explain techniques in a digestible manner. However, I feel like I am at a plateau in learning. I think the next step for advanced photographers would be in making videos about planning via the arc angles of the sun based on the seasons and where to go based on this. I guess I am on to watching math videos and learning meteorology instead of photography tutorials. Great video though and I enjoyed the content. I also do workshops in the Pacific Northwest and take those who dare to venture out in the backcountry (ranging from 8km to 100+km into the wilderness) the weather perfect for landscape photography. If you want to experience Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, or Oregon let me know! You can shoot morning sunrises, sunsets, and night skies whilst the wolves are howling and the grizzly bears and black bears are walking about.
I enjoy your videos and always learn something new. I’m wondering if your ebook is available in the USA. I only see it in your currency and I think I’d really enjoy it if it is. Keep up the great work. Thank you!
No need for mixed feelings about your images as they are great! Maybe because they are a little solemn as compared to your usual stuff? Either way, they do grab the emotion!
Great video per usual, Ian! And to those who haven't bought the book yet - Do it. It's really good!
