I am a Romanian but, it was an Italian who taught me how to eat spaghetti with spoon and fork.

And to me it does makes sense, and makes it easier for me to eat spaghetti.
Before this, I was avoiding eating anything made with spaghetti because it was a struggle for me to eat without having food on me, on the table etc.
