Many thanks for the interesting video. I have been having the same question for long time, and surprisingly you gave the the answer :). I'm a daily rider, I wonder whether this is possible everywhere or only in few cities, I know I have to search myself, is road cycling a common culture there?. A very important question what type of bike is most convenient, gravel , endurance,... or what tire size is best convenient to use in urban cycling (700x25, 700x28, 700x32, ..)with a road bike.
Thanks a lot, and have a nice time wherever you are.

Hi H D, road cycling is clearly NOT a common culture there, so you have to take care. In general, I’d stay away from the cities, cause things are pretty hectic over there, and there’s little to enjoy. However you still might find lots of quiet roads around. I’ve just came from Marmaris area, and there are thousands of appetizing road kilometers to cycle, quiet and picturesque! As for the tire size, I’d clearly go for smth like 700x32. Most asphalt cycling routes are very “stony” there and would give harsh rides with narrow rubbers!

@HD In large cities and in the interior of the country there isn't much of a cycling culture to speak of and with that comes the lack of infrastructure for it.
The west coast of the country is quite the opposite. Most of the coast is a haven for cyclists.
Fethiye, the town in this video specifically is pure delight for cyclists and mountain bikers. The entire city was essentially built out with riders in mind.
