Hope you are enjoying it. I bought mine last year around April and I use it almost everyday. Love it and I am still learning everyday. Do not regret my purchase at all.
I purchased a Canon 7t because I was on a budget. At first I was happy with it because it was my first “real” camera. But then I noticed that it was lacking the features that I really wanted, such as a touch screen and auto focus. Also, most youtube videos had negative comments about the video mode. I just purchased the 90D and it immediately impressed and made me happy! It has all the features I didn’t know I wanted. I’m still trying to learn the features and settings but already I’m so impressed. Now I feel like I have a REAL CAMERA. I will look for more videos in your channel so I can learn more about this wonderful camera.
For anyone looking to buy this camera... I bought it back in 2020 wanting to start a youtube channel with it, I never did. Instead, I started doing videography for local shops and now I have clients paying me $1000s to film videos for their businesses. I have only ever used the 90D with sigma 18-35mm - I do have Cinestyle c-log preset installed so image comes out flat then I colour grade it in post, I don't know if it genuenly works or not since I've never used the REAL c-log but I love how the colors and highlights turn out so I'll stick with it. If you got the money, go buy a mirrorless camera. If you want to stay on a budget or want to start a solo video agency to test the waters, 90D won't disappoint.
I was using my 90d for 3 years, shot a bunch of short films and music videos with it. But the 8bit color was too limiting for me. Upgraded to a sony fx30. Love it. Still have my 90d as my backup/ photo camera
Excellent camera.. Beast of a Camera. For me, it's best for wildlife and sports and printwork. Even thoughit's not a full frame the pixels make a huge difference compared to many full frames when cropping. It's great for portraits for weddings as well and printing artwork such as canvases. It is really a hybrid and combination between DSLR & Mirroless. 2 in 1. This camera beats many mirrorless cameras when it comes to battery life, build quality, overheating. Another awesome thing is the number of lenses that are compatible with it from the cheapest to the prime ultrasonic canon lenses. I will never replace it. I will only add on to it as it's extremely reliable and is a jack of all trades.
I just rented the 90d and 70-300 canon lens to shoot the total solar eclipse and the shots were amazing!! Loved the feel of the camera like you said. Bulky, but not too much, makes you feel like you’re using a serious camera. Haven’t had a legit camera in years and this has me thinking about investing! Mirrorless is here to stay though 🤔
I bought a used 80D 3 years ago when the 90D came out. $800 like new with the 18-135mm kit lens. Screaming deal. I've since bought a number of other lenses and they've really made me appreciate the 18-135. Great images but a little bulky. Thinking about upgrading to a used 90D now. BTW, you can get an 80D with the kit lens for about $500 now. And you're in business with a semi-pro camera with a HUGE selection of used lenses available. You won't regret it - either the 80 or 90. If you can stretch for the extra $200-300, get the 90. But the 80D is real value and you won't suffer
Had mine for 4 years as an upgrade from, initially an EOS650 35mm, to EOS350D, so I have an EF 28-70, 100-300, plus EF-S 10-22 and 18-200. So easy to use and the phone app is a gem. Love it ❤
While she was in high school my daughter was in marching band. For RUclips, I shot videos of the band's competitions using my iPhone and plenty of still photos on my old Canon Rebel DSLR. It was not until after my daughter graduated HS in 2020, that I purchased the Canon 90D. I had my eye on this camera because of the ability to shoot video while I could still make photos when it suited me. I was still able to use my "fleet" of EF lenses which was a huge plus. While the camera has a few shortcomings it still beats my old Rebel. Since then, I have used the 90D for the last three years making several videos for my RUclips channel.
Definitely an amazing camera, the quality it produces is top-tier! Just like many of the other user I can 💯 say this is a fun camera to use, from video, to time lapse to photography. It’s a Contant creator must have. I do wish it was a bit slender in the body that would be my only neg optioni had. Which it not a con for me. Great video btw 😀👌
I have to agree DSLR is not dead to me! Lol! I have a t3i with kit lenses as well as the 90d.also have a nifty fifty but I want another port to lens 😩 I’m not ready to switch it up!
Thanks for this. I just traded in my Canon M6 MII Mirrorless for a used Canon 90D on account of the EF-M format being discontinued and there should be plenty of EF lenses and accessories around for quite some time. Video and photo specs are on par with the M6 which is fine for my needs but the 90D has an added bonus of a headphone jack and far better battery life.
I bought mine when they first came out and it is still my main camera. Mated with a 17-55 F2.8 Canon lens it delivers. The features are great, the surprise was putting a 24/2.8 pancake lens on it and shooting video! Most excellent. As far as APS sensor limitations, I run the RAWs through DXO-3 post process and there you have it, like a new camera.
Awesome vid. Just a point of clarity. The reference to 35mm in film isn't in relation to the focal length. It's in reference to the sensor size (or film size back in the day)

Please I need advice🙏🏼! I'm not sure which Canon camera to buy under 2000euros. Canon R8 seems like a great choice but many people are saying that they are overheating and kinda low battery life. I like canon 90D(because of full frame,4K,great battery life,sturdy...) but there are more RF lenses that are better than EF lenses. So lenses would be my only problem, i am just wondering if EF lenses are still good for profesional photoshootings like RF ones. Another choice is R10 but its not full frame and i am not sure it will be good enough for more profesional use maybe. I am mostly focused on photography not videography for now(portraits, animals, destinations) but i would still like to see how 4K video would look like if I took it. Please some honest advice🙏🏼❤️

I did pick up a Canon R6 MKII for the holidays and it’s on another level. It requires you to know your stuff but it’s more forgiving than the 90D. The EVF is crazy! I understand what most reviewers are talking about now. Shot a few photos at my son’s wedding that came out really well. The 90D & 5DMKIV aren’t going anywhere. They are all amazing cameras that I enjoy.
I shoot the 90d although I have outgrown the 8bit.....
Brilliant camera had one 2years
I want one...I use manual lens
Still using the 70d looking to upgrade to r6
The R6 Mark II is promising!
peace
