Liberal Fire Department introduces fire training system

The Black Hills Corporation Foundation recently purchased a LION digital fire training system for the Liberal Fire Department. This state-of-the-art system provides realistic, hands-on simulation which can be used to train new firefighter students.
The Liberal Fire Department also provides educational training for businesses in the community seeking to train employees on fire response and safety. Fire extinguisher training sessions are free, available in both English and Spanish, and the course runs approximately 45 minutes.
