Dreamers are not recent migrants they are people who came here as children who were raised in American schools and have very little knowledge of their birth countries. They are Americans educated. They most likely grew up in poor neighborhoods with parents who worked multiple jobs illegally make ends meet. The children of the illegal workforce for the last10 or so years. (Maids, meat plants, farms, and factories have always felt the need to under pay migrant workers) the dreamers younger siblings are born here but they were brought here.

As a legal immigrant to the US in the sixties when I was a teenager we found absolutely nothing that would help us assimilate more quickly. My father worked for less than minimum wage and had to slowly build up his career all over again after leaving the Soviet satellite state where I was born. The communists separated our family for 8 years and neither my father nor I could risk going back because the US would never allow us back again (we would permanently lose the chance to become Americans) and because the Communists didn't like that we overstayed in America. So when I hear people complaining about culturally inappropriate food from people supposedly escaping serious oppression it makes me sick. I also here that asylum seekers in the UK regularly travel back home for holidays to the country they are running away from. What a joke. We should all be feeling that all of us are being scammed in a major way by the left and elites and what they are doing is a literal crime. Frankly I think that even the advertisers for these lies, the MSM. should face legal consequences for their biased reporting. I wonder if a legal system can handle it, because right now it looks pretty lame.

I left Denver in 2008/2009. My 13 year old son and I went there for the first time since then over Christmas to visit my family and see what has become of my favorite places. I'm not exaggerating when I say I couldn't even sit on the front porch of my dad's house without people begging for shit. Not one place in the city was safe from people begging for shit in Spanish. After two days of that I just sat around my dad's house waiting for Christmas to pass so we could go home. I was so ready to leave that I drove through blizzard knowing that we would probably get stuck somewhere once they started shutting the highways down again.
The same thing is happening now in my home state of Virginia. I currently reside in neighboring West Virginia where there is still some sanity. The thing that sucks is that I now have an hour commute to work four days a week
Don't worry. Mayor Johnson's plan is to sing sanctuary city for Denver, then tell other cities around Denver that they need to take the "newcomers." The other cities are non-sanctuary. Denver has also set up a hot line for citizens to take these "newcomers" into their homes while ignoring the squatters rights laws.

As a foreigner, who wants to work in the US, legslly, you had to prove that you speak the language (TOEFL Test), were healthy, professionally qualified, had money, and a future employer. No criminal record. No help whatsoever. And even with all that, there eas no guarantee that you would get the Visa. You couldnt even think of demands like those "newcomers". And when your Visa was up, you had to leave the country. And those people have none of the above, but intend to stay forever, all expenses paid, with services provided not even most Americans with qualifications would get. Insane.

I’m 29 been homeless on and off for 7 years because of a mistake I made when I was 18 in high school. I’ve been in homeless shelters and I hate how much special treatment and priority these illegals get it’s ridiculous. They were giving these people housing, job training, schooling, food and clothing vouchers. All while me an American citizen have been shut out from society

I've been watching the real estate prices down there. When this first started getting ugly, the prices went way, way down. You could buy a private island pretty cheap. Now the prices are starting to climb for the luxury estates. It's almost like the elites chased them out so they could get a deal on prime real estate and not have a mess of noisy neighbors.

Mexico isn't far enough. They'll be back in exactly the amount of time it takes to walk back into Texas and get put on a bus. Sending them halfway around the world would definitely be more effective.

They still want them here. Just go to an Ivy league college. They went from mom and dad's home, off to college for a top education. They haven't experienced life and they're fighting us, telling us ,we owe these illegals.

Border control first, then I am more than happy for them to negotiate a simplified immigration policy. Everything should be easier to understand, and their needs to be standards. But I am not for doing them at the same time, or the legal immigration policy first. Last time a deal and bill was negotiated, security and laws got ignored after the fact. It's just like the DA's that don't prosecute crimes on the books, and release people with $1 bail. When the laws are enforced, the problem isn't as big. Security needs to be reinforced, and when need more immigration judges to speed up the cases. We need Trumps policies back in place until a permanent law can be passed with a minimum of the same policies. And our northern border needs to be dealt with too. And government assistance needs to not be a possibility for illegals. It needs to not be a possibility for legal immigrants for the first five years, with possible acception for provable asylum seekers.
No exceptions!
