Great video brian, just a quick question, i trade ES futures and my 5day sma is not as smooth as yours at all. Should i try a smoothed moving average instead?
Always look forward to your videos. $10/month seems like a good deal! I always do best as a daytrader, but never place stops, because I'm in front of my screen. The problem is that to this day I have a hard time taking the loss. Buy/hold is hard for me, but seems like the way to go. Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but do you ever wish that you bought SMH or QQQ a few years back and did nothing? Daytrading is an adrenalin rush for me but also exhausting. I always think the strategy is to sit on my hands and wait for the inevitable major correction due to the craziness of humanity, and then put money to work.
I have a small portion of money I let sit in SPY. My focus is swing trade, daytrade too short term for me with occasional exception and I am not a great investor.
I have been doing this 34 years, I have a lot of knowledge and get tons of great feedback. I am not trying to squeeze anything, where else do you get this experience for free. YOu will get TONS of VALUE for $10/ month. Dont sign up if you dont like it but your complaint falls on deaf ears here.

I would use a VWAP Moving average to normalize the illiquid overnight periods. A time based MA gives equal weight to all periods
