Top tips! I couldn't agree more with only taking few trades which is A set ups... overtrading/revenge trading can really mess you up even if you have the best strategy.

This was the confirmation video I needed to see I did my weekly analysis on Saturday NAS & ES and saw a FVG on the weekly and said I was bullish for the week but price will drop down to the weekly BISI before going up…. didn’t follow my trading plan miss the entry on Monday short and for some weird reason I kept trying to go long got tunnel vision down on the 1 & 5min chart forgot all about the weekly bias till today when the market hit that BISI on the weekly… now I’m looking for the impulse move up or the rejection will see tomorrow but thank you so much I need this

Those are the exact things im doing in my trading career. And it is really very effective. I only make 1 trade in a day, then stop. Or lose 2 trade then stop.

its exactly how i look at charts but i usually get stuck on targets because i will be knowing the htf draw on liquidity and sometimes it could take days and weeks, to the point that i would entered winning trades and losing trades and when i review it would be like had i entered and left for all those days would have had a better percentage return than the small short term trades i would have taken, so basically how did you overcome the take profits issue and targets and whats your advice on my current challenge

I actually found you’re right! For higher winrates like 40%+ higher timeframes are a lot better than lower timeframes. But for consistent higher risk reward trading lower timeframes are the way to go in my opinion. I for example enter on the 1 min with 15min bias on EU. I always take 5:1 risk reward trades and my winrate hovers around 25% which yields me 50r every 100 trades. I got around 20 trades per month.

@@kevinjohnson3521 entering on the extreme SnD zone and targeting 5:1. I also want it to be a quick mitigation. If a new supply or demand leg is formed before tagging me in im canceling my order
what size stop loss are you using? 5? that's hella risky csude you're gonna lose a ton of trades and not everyone has the psychology for that
@@SacredCASHcow it’s actually easier for the psychology. Since when I enter into a drawdown period of for example 10r. I know it only takes me 2 good trades to be break even again. At 2:1 and 3:1 it always felt like I was trying to catch up with the market and losing streaks impacted me a lot more since I knew it takes a lot of winning trades and time to come back to profit. But if you have a bit of positive variance with a higher risk to reward you’re instantly up +8-15r. And if you got a 25% winrate with 5:1 which is the break even winrate of 3:1, the market won’t catch up with you and take the 10r away again.

I have most aspects of my trading finally down, except for one HUGE speed bump. I'm letting fear run rampant after I enter, solid entries, I'm using micros and only up to 3 at a time. I lost a good bit of $$ during my 3.5 years trading NAS and I am sure that's it. I am assuming this is something that I just have to "grind" through, however, I wanted to pose the question as maybe someone had the same issue and stumbled across something/method that helped them break it? lets say daily is bullish and 4hr and 1hr is bearish - do i take longs only because following daily bias? or shorts to match the 1hr and 4hr? ty
Hard pill I've learnt just recently:1). Monday wont always have good setups, its probably manipulating up/down in preparance for distribution(power of 3) 2). Always trade with the trend even if you see that sell setup on Monday yet your overall bias on Weekly is Bullish, just stick to your bias! 3). Maximize your winners dont be afraid to get that 60pip move instead of settling for 20 pips, do take partials and move stopl loss to breakeven though 4). PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE!!!

Bro what's your win rate?
I think for some strategies it is better to trade every day with a strict risk management. For example, I personally don't know how my A+ set up should look. Sometimes my cleanest set ups work, sometimes they just don't and at times your most confusing set ups may work perfectly even giving you a better RR than your A+ set up. We never know.

How do you know institutions/banks look at Day/H4 charts ?? I know the analysts side of the biz do look at Day. But do traders ?? I see so many declarationson this as if its first hand knowledge. So asking for clarification. If it's ICT saying it , then what about when he said central banks are the market makers? ( That is BS if one knows how the system in interbank is.
