I think it happened to me... when I was younger I was told to give my life to Jesus but didn't wanted to. I was afraid of this sin but, never didanything about it.... years later I knew what was this sin about and looked for Jesus but I felt hardened. I started reading the Bible and understood the gospel and felt happy.. start attending church and professed faith... but a yer later I started doubting .. and denied my faith and everything I learned about it and felt angry with God and Jesus... got back to the world and knew I needed to repent and go back but said "meh, God will forgive me later".. After knowing the things I've done and living the consequences of my sins I wanna go back but I feel like Esau.. and sometimes I dont feel conviction or that God is happy with me.. I feel he's angry and feel reprobate... I dont wanna do it anymore, I wanna listen to him... and im afraid of hell... or that it may be late. I also had nightmares... when I red the Bible I dont feel peace or God's confort anymore.

What was so stupid about these religious leaders is that not only were they not worried about committing this unpardonable sin, they were so arrogant to the point to where they turned the accusation of blasphemy around on Jesus. Let's not forget how in Matthew chapter 26 how Caiaphas screamed "He has spoken blasphemy!!" That's how callous their hearts were. I have been feeling so guilty. One day I was angry, so I felt something in my heart trying to calm me down. But I was so mad...
I feel guilty because that day I doubted that that good feeling could be him, but at the same time I thought it could be him. I was so confused and angry, that I said to myself, "shut up", and I cursed myself too, thinking that feeling was not Him. So I started to think that that good feeling was indeed Him.
My worries starts from there. I was rude to Him.
I asked God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit for forgiveness, but I still worry. I was rude to the kindest Person in the universe. I use to talk to Him everyday. I can't worship Him like I use to, because I think God gonna ignore me.

@@theorthotomeominute Nice to hear from you, I hope you are well.
I just feel that organised religion is completely man made and artificial. When I look at the flowers and the birds and the sky, I enjoy them and I am grateful for them. Someone or something made them and I am thankful. I also try to spread kindness where I can and when I can, especially to animals.
What I don’t remotely understand is people in organised religion who claim to have the direct line to our creator or creators, depending on which of the many, many religions you subscribe to. Worse still, organised religion has in very recent times been responsible for the worst atrocities imaginable, especially in my native Ireland.
If there is a God and I don’t deny there may be, I don’t need the man made concept of religion to show gratitude.

@@martintaylor1758 Hey Martin, I understand your concerns about organized religion. People do all sorts of crazy things in the name of God, things He would never tell them to do. Also, with so many to choose from, how do we know which is right??
The good news is that you believe in God. The better news is that God loves you and desires for you to know Him. How can we know Him? He wrote it down for us. The Bible is the Word of God. the Bible is the only religious book in the world with any real fulfilled predictive prophecy (close to 2000) has over 25,000 archeological discoveries to validate it, and has more manuscript evidence to support it then any book from antiquity. Check out ruclips.net/video/k3FsfWLQQ5I/видео.html for more info about the Bible.
That is just a few of the many reasons to believe the Bible is the Word of God. There is no other book that can even come close. If there is a God, do you think He would just leave us to ourselves without any way of knowing Him, or knowing right or wrong?
Having gratitude to God for the things He created is good, but unfortunately that does not get rid of our sin. God is loving, but He's very just. All of us are born into sin, and if we die in our sin, we will be separated from a holy and righteous God who will justly punish our sin. God sent Jesus to pay for our sins on the cross, and if you are willing to truly trust Him as your Lord and Savior, you will be forgiven. Jesus is the only way, and there is no other name under heaven given by which we can be saved.
I encourage you to honestly ask God to reveal Himself to you.

@@martintaylor1758Jesus was a Jew and involved in “organized religion” but He was the perfect Jew (and perfect human) who didn’t give into temptation or sin once. The problem with a lot of organized Christianity today is that we as humans are still able to fall and a lot of people don’t truly know Jesus so it leads to people being abused and hurt which is truly abominable. But we don’t follow other men, or put our faith in men, we put it in the Son of God who came down from heaven and saved us and gives us the ability to forgive, love, and help lead others to the truth. And He tells us to gather together and worship, pray, praise, learn, and teach together so that’s what I do. I don’t waste too much time trying to make sure every single person at my church is a true believer and follower of Christ, I just gather (albeit we should prayerfully and carefully approach finding a church because Theres a lot of deception and false teaching out there) because that’s what He says we should do and it has been a blessing in my life greatly. Another thought that comes to mind is a lot of churches today don’t actually practice biblical church discipline like the Bible outlines and encourages which can lead to a real mess.

I also have a couple more observations, these are just my observations on the topic so please don’t take my words as any sort of authoritative teachings.
It also seems that God guards believers in his Son Christ Jesus’ hearts from being able to commit this sin. Not making us incapable of saying a particular set of words out of weakness, sin, or obsessive compulsiveness (not that we should ever say words like that), but from allowing such complete hate and malice to originate and fester within our hearts without repentance and then produce that bad fruit. That’s at least how I make sense of this topic in context of Matthew 12:33-37 and some of your comments about how blasphemy comes from the heart.
One reason why I think believers such as myself are so scared of this topic is because such a hatred and malice towards God, to the point where you would (out of your heart) so completely and finally declare opposition to God in this way, is because this condition of the heart is completely incomprehensible to the believer.

Thanks for the comment! Whether you can walk away from salvation or not has been a debated topic within the church for a very long time. Both sides have verses to support their position. The important thing is that they agree on salvation through faith alone in Jesus.
Sometimes the debate happens when someone who professed faith in Jesus starts living a life of sin. Some will say he was never saved to begin with while others say he was saved but walked away and now isn’t. The important thing is that according to 1 John 3:9 and many other verses he is not saved. So instead of debating the doctrine of eternal security, let’s just try to go after the lost soul and win him to Jesus :)

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable because it is the verbal declaration of a heart that is totally hardened. The person who does this does not desire forgiveness and will not seek it, thus it will never be forgiven. Blasphemy comes from the heart and reveals the true character of a person. Matthew 15:19.
