We have found that if you need cash when you get somewhere it's typically "cheaper" to withdraw the max from an ATM rather than exchange currency at a counter, airport, etc! Just a tip in case it helps.

A good rule of thumb is to not put your home address on a luggage tag because you never know who could get their hands on a misdirected bag. I use my office address and when I was younger, I used one of my parents’ offices.

It’s possible to withdrawal local currency using your debit card at international ATMs. It’s very easy.
