Informative, practical solution. Unfortunately it does not prevent them from doing it again but it delays them.
I would imagine it will cost them a few penies for a new domain name
Well if more and more people (still a fraction of internet users) report it like here wouldnt it become extremely difficult/tiresome to have your sites blocked more often than not?
It will definitely stop them from doing it again if they get reported quickly. Alle the work & hassle to order a new domain and phone number and install your phising template on the domain is very annoying to them. If they can only fool a handful of people per domain it won't be worth it for them.

I am a computer engineering student in first year and wanted to learn more about python but the main thing I take away from this video is your passion for protecting the public as an engineer. A much easier step to shutdown scammer: when receive a phone call with Indian accent, hang up. If you receive an email with an Indian email address, delete it. That's much more effective.

one time I said my name was jack meoff and only 1out of about 5 got it. Never call these numbers because it's unsafe unless u call them and mess with them and know how do it like scammer payback
Now if only there was some way to write a program to do all of this for you.

@@qwerasdfhjkio if someone would steal that idea, it would not really matter, as the main goal of this idea is to get more ppl to report scam sites. It is not about him getting money, but to make life harder for scammers. And that would happen if someone stole his idea.
There is, just a python script with the help of selenium (if I'm not mistaken) library to interact with websites and there you go

I just love the skill and speed of this guy, shutting down scammers is a gift that benefits the rest of us who don't have his knowledge.
Clear, efficient and effective. If we had say 10,000 other "good guys" with the skillset like you have donate 30 mins a day blowing up scammer sites we might have a chance... I feel like I want to buy you a beer or something.
I've watched other vids you've posted which have more complex approaches, but this is so dead simple! Love It
dude, i love you , i get all the time scam emails and text here in uk, because the "digital police" is non-existent, and even if you send them a complaint, they will reply with "we do not have many resources, but we will do all we can", but this sir, you help me a lot. a big thank you

Great video, for anyone interested you can do much the same with email scams. Look into the email headers you'll often find it's legitimate emails that have been hacked and used to send spam, reporting it to the site admins will usually get it fixed quickly.
5 minutes or so? Nice! I'm impressed with the improvement in attitude by internet providers like Google and that URL shortener. In the past, let's say 15-20 years ago, I used to report spammers and scammers to the abuse@ and postmaster@ addresses and basically was ignored.

Great tip. This won't stop them from sprouting up some other place but at least it shuts down the immediate site and that should help some people.

The amount of scammers out there reflects how profitable and how easy it is to scamm people. Doing those simple steps you will make the scammers life a little hard and hopefully make it less attractive to scam. Nice job man! Keep up with this amazing work.

1. Chrome Report a Phishing Page
2. URL shorter service - text them
3. Google Voice Abuse Form
4. who is for Abuse domain mail :)

OMG! Thank you for showing how to shutdown scammers. This actually helped me to shutdown a suspicious site which was trying to use some bait reward so that another ad company can profit off of and leads to the advert page

Now I'd like to know how quickly they can make a new one and if they lose money on it. Probably not (a lot). Although sadly, some people still fall for stuff like this & when they do, it usually goes very bad very quickly. I thought scalpers were the scum of the earth... They still are, but scammers are even worse.

A while back on a video you used your chrome browser to analyze traffic on a web sight or web adress. Can you do a video on how you use Chrome like this and all of the extensions you use please. I'm just now learning about all this stuff. Great video. Keep it up
