I met Dream before and I have to say I am good at reading people and he is a genuinely great person to be around. Also I have done manhunts with my friends and I did the same thing so it is possible and I know people are going to say I am lying because that is how the internet is but it’s ok because I know the truth.

Nahhhhhh, there's no way Techno is the 5th hunter. I'd imagine that a Dream/Techno manhunt would play out similar to how Illumina's did, with just the two of them against each other and doing one round of being the hunter and one round of being the runner for each of them.

I can see some parts where people could think that the videos are staged, especially the parts where dream gets down to half a heart and manages to get away some how, even after like half an hour if chasing. But every reaction sounds genuine to me, so unless dream confines it himself, I'll continue believing the videos are real. (Also this is not to say that everyone else has to believe, people can have their own opinions and think whatever they want about Dream's manhunt videos, this is just my opinion)
The guy has clearly never played a manhunt with the plugin before, otherwise he would know that the compass doesn’t update unless you hold and right click it, and as a hunter you don’t check it as often as you’d think because you have other things to worry about.
@@baycnn4700 the compass points to dream the last time they've updated it. in older videos it's more obvious and im assuming the plugin hasnt changed since. in his old videos (pre 1.16) when he makes it to the nether it does not point to the nether portal, the last place he would be in the overworld, it points to where he was in the overworld the laat time they updated it.
@@baycnn4700 it doesnt update automatically that's why in most manhunts when he get lava achievement and about to enter nether they say to mark his location or something along those lines and same in older manhunts when he would actually beat them to the end they'd mark his location before he went in

This guy doesn’t understand how Minecraft mechanics work... oh deary me. He’s also lacking some serious logic, because his claims rely on inside knowledge that you could only get from dream’s POV, like health, location, etc.
If there's money on the line then why would the hunters kill each other? See, if it's a random kid who's chasing you then they would do whatever it takes to kill you. Be it pushing you off the edge or dropping lava above your head. It's as easy as that, its just that the ones chasing you are your friends, and it's heavily biased. They're not really there for the prize money, they're not there to hunt you, they're there to make 'content' to make $$ off the content. I'd call it a manhunt if they really did their best to kill the speedrunner, but they're not. Hence why, you can also say it's scripted. They're not doing their best . They're just trying to make it as entertaining as possible.

Nahhhhhh, there's no way Techno is the 5th hunter. I'd imagine that a Dream/Techno manhunt would play out similar to how Illumina's did, with just the two of them against each other and doing one round of being the hunter and one round of being the runner for each of them.

I can see some parts where people could think that the videos are staged, especially the parts where dream gets down to half a heart and manages to get away some how, even after like half an hour if chasing. But every reaction sounds genuine to me, so unless dream confines it himself, I'll continue believing the videos are real. (Also this is not to say that everyone else has to believe, people can have their own opinions and think whatever they want about Dream's manhunt videos, this is just my opinion)

The guy has clearly never played a manhunt with the plugin before, otherwise he would know that the compass doesn’t update unless you hold and right click it, and as a hunter you don’t check it as often as you’d think because you have other things to worry about.
I’m not at all supporting his accusations but I’m pretty sure their compass updates automatically

In the beginning Dream is usually trying to get distance on them, they don’t usually expect an attack, especially early game
@@baycnn4700 the compass points to dream the last time they've updated it. in older videos it's more obvious and im assuming the plugin hasnt changed since. in his old videos (pre 1.16) when he makes it to the nether it does not point to the nether portal, the last place he would be in the overworld, it points to where he was in the overworld the laat time they updated it.
@@baycnn4700 it doesnt update automatically that's why in most manhunts when he get lava achievement and about to enter nether they say to mark his location or something along those lines and same in older manhunts when he would actually beat them to the end they'd mark his location before he went in

This guy doesn’t understand how Minecraft mechanics work... oh deary me. He’s also lacking some serious logic, because his claims rely on inside knowledge that you could only get from dream’s POV, like health, location, etc.
These "debunking" videos can be summed up as "Dream Manhunts Faked? Analysis - Hindsight is 20/20". All context is lost on them.
If there's money on the line then why would the hunters kill each other? See, if it's a random kid who's chasing you then they would do whatever it takes to kill you. Be it pushing you off the edge or dropping lava above your head. It's as easy as that, its just that the ones chasing you are your friends, and it's heavily biased. They're not really there for the prize money, they're not there to hunt you, they're there to make 'content' to make $$ off the content. I'd call it a manhunt if they really did their best to kill the speedrunner, but they're not. Hence why, you can also say it's scripted. They're not doing their best . They're just trying to make it as entertaining as possible.
