He just opened a new terminal window ( by using spotlight you can access it, just search terminal ) , then used the python package manager named "pip" followed by the name of the package, in this case it is an SDK, enter the command pip install watson-developer-cloud and it will install the tools needed for watson cloud Personality Insights.
