I probably miscounted somewhere but this how much money Grubfather grubbed, Blingbank banked, and Blingcharm blinged. This does not include money dropped by enemies and multikills. Fight 1 = Grub made 840 Fight 2 = Grub made 70 Fight 3 = Grub made 440 before and after cut, should be 590 made during the cut. Blingbank made 40, Blingcharm made 10. Total = 1,080 Fight 4 = Grub made 30. Blingbank made 32, Blingcharm made 30. Total 92. Fight 5 = Grub made 30. Blingbank made 12, Blingcharm made 5. Total 47. Fight 6 = Grub made 30. Blingbank made 80, Blingcharm made 5. Total 115. Fight 7 = Grub made 0 lol. Blingbank made 32, Blingcharm made 5. Total 37. Final Fight = Grub made 0 lol. Blingbank made 24, Blingcharm made 5. Total 29. Grubfather total = 2,030 Blingbank Total = 218 Blingcharm Total = 60 Grand Total = 2,308
I think the main way to balance Grubfather without ruining him would be to give him Hogheaded, *and* auto Crown. I think the unit is absurb and should stay absurd because it's funny, but it's also funny to make sure there's no way you can avoid the "Oh god no" of Greed on all the enemies. Otherwise you just leave him out the fight until it's safe.
So glad you got grubfather cause i lost my mind when i got him on a run today. He is insane to play with, and i kept thinking "i hope voyix gets this character soon".

Dream nail could have been pretty nice to hit hornet with this run. Would have caused 4 attacks from her, and even with -7 she's still hitting hard with the big greed. Even without the grub father broken shenanigans, dream nail plus the dryya companion have great synergy, since she doesn't care about the 7 frost and her effects get boosted by the nail hit
I did an elderbug run yesterday where i got lumin ring blaze tea, and a copy of it with mask maker giving me a 2nd elderbug too. Had him up to 11 turn timer hitting 7 times on smackback. Pretty crazy.
I think the only way to balance grubfather is making him kill himself while tossing money or maybe making him hogheaded. Then he could be a stay ahead unit. If they wanted to balance it of course
You seemed really down on the hero in the opener for this one; Which, I don't really understand. It's just a better version of Spike. You rarely play through your hero anyway, so I'm not entirely sure why you thought this hero was bad.
spike is not a good hero, he is a good companion because he carrys the first 2 fights and he is good versus some other ones (for example, he does not care about haze) for the other hand, smackback heroes are not good because they dont do anything. you need the enemies to hit your hero to kill them, and over time that is harder and harder because enemies have more damage and more hp. however the hero is your hero and he will be there in all fights, even when you dont need him, so it would be better if your hero can do something. You always can bench spike but not your hero. In this video is different, "trigger on hit" effects dont need an enemy to proc your hero, as you saw in the video you can hit it yourself for it to attack. that is way better because shelbo is a hit in your hero and that means a free attack.
@@ezequielangelucci1263 I mean... I guess? Personally, I've found a lot of success with smack-back heroes. They tend to have higher health than most other heroes, meaning they're more capable of taking hits when I need them to, and they usually have high enough damage to punish enemies like porkupine, shrootles, and puffball. That said, I don't tend to play on 22 bells. I usually keep it at 9, because I like variety in my runs and one of my favorite mechanics in the game is fighting my previous hero. That, and I find the 'true-ending' fight to be immeasurably disappointing. I consider it quite literally the worst feature of the game.
yea spike is good because he can die if you need him to and still give you value, your hero cant die. if your hero has no attack timer you have to react to enemy attacks which takes away a lot of agency from you

OH MY GOD.

That seems like it's just gonna insta lose you some fights lol
yeah something like this makes sense, locking him on the field and forcing you to play him is the funniest answer
@@gravitysword2002 not if you dont grind money, it puts you on a clock each fight, but as long as you empy your coffers your all good
Voyix not beating the "I love my money" allegations after this one.
Grubfather setting back his aestheticism decades
I love the ooba bear in the thumbnail

he's so goofy

4:43 Thank you Voyix !
You truly are the Johnathan RUclipsr of this platform
LOL!!! Well we know who I'm nerfing next patch...
it was fun while it lasted lol, he's just a silly guy
absolutely necessary and I think the cool nerf is adding hogheaded and an ink immunity
Just impossible to properly beat a run when you can't get infinite money in fight 1. You just on't have any Ressources to work with.
I guess they gave hornet teeth because of her one spike nail obstacle?
So that's how Elon Musk must feel like
😂”Okay, hear me out.” *takes bling bank*
There isn’t anything with separate worded triggers but there are plenty that have a standard attack with an unrelated effect(mainly on hit).
you were a money boy, but now you truly are THE MONEY MAN
This is the most insane run i’ve ever seen. Never thought I’d see a Bling Bank carry 😂

oh monster train my beloved, i miss you
ooh boy i do love money

What a sick run!
he's the guy who does infinites
Pepper landed on grub father 8 times
in america you rob bank, in wild frost bank robs you, then beats the crap out of you apparently.
you won something like 840 gold on the boss with grubfather
have you ever heard the story of king Midas?
bling bank with a thirst for blood...
Grub father himself probably should have an attack, so its much harder to pull it off? Or a cap of 100 or 200 bling
What a fun idea
that was great lol
This is by far the most broken run I have seen 😂
